About Me

I just received my secondary ed certification in biology (and completing my masters degree in education), so I'm currently substitute teaching while working as a bartender and gymnastics coach. I will be returning to grad school to pursue a doctorate degree. Education is important to me and I'm looking for someone who feels the same.I enjoy a lot of physical activities including running, working out, and cycling. Looks aren't everything, but I spend a lot of time working out so my body looks great, and I want a man who feels this is important as well. I like to travel, and I've been to many different states and a few other countries. I especially like going to the beach. I also like watching movies and going to concerts and sporting events. On weekends, sometimes I'll go out with my friends and other times, I'll enjoy a quiet and relaxing evening at home. I love cooking and baking :)I like to consider myself a kind, sweet, and caring girl who is fun to be with and willing to help others. I am a very motivated person. I set goals for myself, and I'm not afraid to work hard to successfully achieve them. I love and appreciate all the wonderful people and things that I've been blessed with in my life :) I'm very responsible, but I still like having fun. I'm also very petite, and I take care of myself by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As far as music, I listen to a little bit of everything, but my favorites are pop, hip hop, classic rock, and some country.I've tried meeting guys at bars, but that didn't work well for me. Overall, I'm pretty easy going, down to earth, and not into drama. I like to spoil my boyfriend, so I'm looking for a man who treats girls with respect, but who also knows how to have fun and make me laugh!     Well, where do I begin? Have no fear however, I did leave this area to go to school to become a music teacher. I've lived in western PA (and no I DO NOT worship the "terrible towel"!! I will admit I am a bit of a band nerd. I play in a few community/ professional ensembles in the area and I play the oboe. I consider myself to be a very independent person. I often know what I want and go after it. I definitely think being indecisive is annoying as well as being "flaky". I am extremely loyal, and easy to get along with. I like to say I have a good head on my shoulders and can think things through in a calm, rational way. But I am definitely full of creativity and am truely a child at heart. I love insane unique thinkers, it always makes for fun conversation. I don't mind debating either and will often play "devil's advocate" in conversation just help out a person when thinking through a hypothetical situation. I definitely enjoy watching football and going to Iron Pig games. One of my crowning achievements was singing the National Anthem at an Iron Pigs game. I like to read, as well as be outdoors to go on a hike. I have never fished before. I've always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride, they just look like fun! If it's a spontaneous travel choice it excites me more. Hmmm, what do I look for in a guy. Not entirely sure, I have this philosophy that I'll just know it when I see it. Must be able to hold intelligent conversation. Religion plays a factor in my life, if you dont believe in it, I respect that however, don't knock my beliefs. I will say this though, if you can return my witty convesation or even laugh along with me, I will like you a lot for it. I want my date and I to feel like we have some sort of kinship at the end of the date. Friends are important. I dont open for a romantic connection unless I truly get to know the person. Call me sentimental, I have zero interest in strictly romantic pursuits... It makes the connection boring if you know the answer to the question. Much more fun to realize you've stumbled upon something wonderful than to expect it. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and checking out my page. Enjoy your day!
