I work a lot so it's hard to meet new people. So, here I am looking for something different. I'm a do-er, not looking for anyone (friend or otherwise) that wants to stay in bed all day or sit around the house watching TV ***. I'm very sarcastic at times and have a great sense of humor. I love movies, I like most genres but especially comedies, one of my favorite movies is "The Jerk" and one of my favorite movie scenes is from "The Proposal" I love being outside although I'm really not a woodsy type, I like enjoying nature without getting too close to it. I'm a Ravens fan and I also follow Terps basketball. There's so much more but I've probably already lost most of you so I'll quit while I'm ahead. Dinner, drinks, coffee, I think it's better to be easy and relaxed; loads of pressure is a sure fire way to ruin a good day/evening. Maybe something fun like ice skating, or bowling. Although I'm terrible at bowling. :-)

I teach elementary school and love my job (well most of the time...ha). I work hard and definitely like to maximize fun and relaxation during my time off. I'm twenty-eight years old and would describe myself as caring, social and fun. I am the type of person who wears her heart on her sleeve and would do anything for my family & friends. I have my Masters degree and work in the social service field and am very driven in terms of my career. I have a big heart and love to help others which is one of the reasons I work in the field that I do. I love to learn new things and challenge myself. Occasionally, I enjoy the social scene by going to bars, lounges and restaurants but also do not mind a night in watching a movie or reading a good book with a glass of wine. Family and friends are very important to me, so I love spending time with them. Eating healthy and working out are also important to me, whether it be a yoga class, walking/running in the park or by doing a workout DVD at home. Being outdoors is always something I enjoy, especially in the warmer weather it can be at the beach, going to a Yankee game or just walking around the city. I am looking for someone who shares the same interests and that can also offer new experiences. I wouldn't say I have a particular type but I am looking for someone with a strong sense of family values and gets along easily with others. Its important to me that my potential partner can get along and be comfortable with my family and friends and vice versa. I think important aspects of a relationship are trust and communication and I am looking for someone who wont be afraid to communicate their feelings. I appreciate a guy that is old fashioned in some ways and I'd like to think of myself as someone a guy would be happy to bring home to meet his parents.
