I love spending time with friends, enjoying great food, drinks and laughs. If you don't like to socialize, eat, drink and generally have fun, move on. I love fun. I am also very close with my family and enjoy spending time with them; they are totally nuts but I love them. My parents also recently rescued two adorable dogs and so I have been spending a lot of time hanging out with them. I think my mother adopted them so that I would come home more often. Totally worked. Touche mother.I am an ambitious person, love being busy and getting involved. I am an active person and enjoy working out and being outside.Dance has always been a passion of mine. Either watching, actually dancing myself or teaching, I find true joy in the art form and it will always be a part of who I am. I recently began coaching the dance team at the school I work at and love it.I really enjoy traveling.-- that was an adventure. Part nightmare, part awesome. Ideally I would like to do more traveling without students. I am not one for a crazy, over the top first date. I think good conversation over a glass of wine/beer/cocktail is ideal. And then maybe if it goes well, throw in some food. I think the long-walk-on-the-beach is more like a third date activity.

From aforementioned balloons, to eating wacky things at Dim Sum, to seeking out movies in odd languages, or perhaps just conversing with some squirrels in the Public Gardens. Adventure follows me like an inappropriately colored shadow or a very silly looking dog nipping at my heels. Are you picking up what I'm laying down? Rad. Delicious foods are assuredly the way to this lady's heart. I adore trying new and interesting things as well. Sea urchin? Sign me up. Six kinds of goose/duck on one plate? Yes please. Hell, I've eaten insects and would do so again given a chance. But I'll take that goose first. nom nom nom. I am not a vegetarian, obviously, but I do eat ~mostly~ vegetarian, so I assure you if you are one I wouldn't go out of my way to eat baby bunny burgers just to spite you. do tell!I may come off as really eccentric and wacky-tastic but honestly underneath this charming colorful and sweet candy shell lies a small female who loves hugs and tea.

    I'm a pretty unique girl with a lot of unique experiences. I've been out of country twice which has added to a lot of my cultural influences, but I also teach in an inner city high school where I learn things from under privileged kids all the time. It's eye opening to learn what they've been through. I read a lot of books and see a lot of movies. I'm a self proclaimed geek and enjoy science fiction and fantasy more then the average girl. I have a very close knit group of friends who I have known since I was in elementary school. In my spare time I like to write a lot, but that doesn't stop me from going out to have a good time. I like to party and be social and throw down with the best of them. I love meeting people and just learning about new experiences and things day by day. I'm incredibly into music and spend a lot of my time discovering new bands or just going to shows to see the old ones. I have been to a lot of big music festivals and I find those times to be some of the greatest I know. I'm really big into movies and the film business in general. Some of my favorites include;... and probably every single B rated horror movie in existence. I'm a huge Sci-Fi/Horror fan. With that said you can see how my favorite tv shows include LOST, Buffy, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. If it has some element of supernatural/fantasy I'm probably into it. I also read a lot hence the reason I teach English. Listing my favorite books would be pointless seeing as I read so much. I will admit to loving classic literature like To Kill a Mockingbird and Gatsby, but I also can spend hours reading comic books and all that fantasy/sci-fi crap that most girls find boring. *Insert Classic Geek Alert Noise* I've also noticed that in the last year I've had seventy thousand haircuts. Thank goodness for my best friend being a stylist or I'd be broke. I like fun things. I like people who like fun things. Maybe something fun together? I don't know, some place to socialize and actually get to know a person. I'm pretty easy going.
