I grew up in a very athletic household, so naturally sports became a huge part of my life. I do have a competitive spirit but I can usually keep myself in check. Who doesn't play to win, anyway? Growing up, I had always wanted a dog and I always said when I was out on my own, I'd get one. Independence is a beautiful thing! Every now and again, you can find me singing along to music from the late 90s and early ***s. If you haven't jogged while listening to Dance Mix '95, you're missing out, let me tell you!     What can I say? I am not a natural born southerner, but I could definitely get used to it! I moved here for my career; I teach 5th grade Math, and wouldn't trade my students for anything (even though I want to pull my hair out some days). The only down side of moving here is the distance I have put between great friends and great family. I am very close to them, and sometimes it is rough being so far away, but I talk to them on the phone all the time! Right now i am working on a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I am looking for a friend first and foremost. I am waiting for the stage in my life to start!
