I'm looking for someone that's full of life. I absolutely love to laugh (since it IS the best medicine) and love people that can keep me on my toes. I definitely want someone that understands the importance of having a personal relationship with Christ, and who in turn, will go on a journey with me to get closer to Jesus together. I wholeheartedly believe that a good relationship has to start with a firm foundation based around God. I'm a Southern, small town girl, but feel that I could easily make it in a big city. I'm very extroverted. They say good things come to those that wait, so I try to be a patient person. I like caring for other people and tend to show my love and appreciation in little ways without always coming out and saying it. In my spare time, I enjoy trying my hand at baking and cooking (even when it's disastrous), singing (even though it is certainly not my claim to fame), and traveling as much as possible. When it comes to the dating world, I don't have one specific type that I'm looking for...character is what counts! :) Something casual where we can have a chance to chat, but where it doesn't feel like we're in an interview! Maybe a coffeehouse or something... :)

    What can I say? I am not a natural born southerner, but I could definitely get used to it! I moved here for my career; I teach 5th grade Math, and wouldn't trade my students for anything (even though I want to pull my hair out some days). The only down side of moving here is the distance I have put between great friends and great family. I am very close to them, and sometimes it is rough being so far away, but I talk to them on the phone all the time! Right now i am working on a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. One day I would really like to be the principal of an elementary school, but I am good being in the classroom right now! At first glance I can appear to be very shy, but I open up pretty quickly. I am loud, my voice just seems to carry, but I come by it honest! It comes in handy in my line of work though! I can be very opnionated, but I can also admit when I am wrong (it just so happens that that doesn't happen very often!) I am also a very trusting person, at least until that trust is broken. I am looking for a friend first and foremost. I am waiting for the stage in my life to start!
