I'm a 33 year old woman with a teenage boy who is my life...its just him, myself and my dog (who is also like my child) in our home. I'm Heather and I guess I'm on here to see what's out there... I'm not saying there should be shame in online dating but to be honest I'm not shouting it from the rooftops that I'm on here. It seems the world is now online and since my professional life keeps me steady busy and I'm not spending my nights off in bars this is where I am.I love witty banter and sarcasm (I use it often) and don't ever want to force a conversation. One or two word answers are senseless to me and I won't make conversations out of nothing. I know what I like to read in a profile but I'm pretty sure the guy standard is different so I'm probably being too wordy already. I'm not a hopeless romantic or overly emotional but I'm also not heartless; I just believe in a balance. I keep a busy life between being a clinician, teaching and enjoying what free time I have left with my favorite people but I love my work as frustrating as it and the stories usually make for a good time. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not or just try to put my best side out there for you. I'm flawed but sincere and unassuming looking for someone real who compliments me and vice versa.
