I strive to cultivate a positive and optimistic outlook on life. I believe knowledge is power and exposure a variety of people and experiences is important to developing a dynamic sense of self. I am a registered nurse and feel fortunate to have a profession that grounds and continuously challenges me. While I don't necessarily feel work defines who you are, I do find that it shapes how we change and evolve as individuals. I like to have fun, laughter and joy are infectious. Sometimes humor can be the the most effective medicine:-). I think having a passion for something (or many things) is important. For me that passion lies with people. Some of my favorite things... A great cup of coffee in the morning-this is absolutely critical! Music. I am in no way an authority and may draw a blank if you ask me my favorite artists, but I usually have music playing somewhere. I recently acquired a record player and love collecting vinyl! Travel. I haven't done as much of this as I would like, but I definitely hope to have a few trips planned in the not so distant future. I am pretty conscious about diet and health is important to me. I may be an obsessive label reader at times but I do love to cheat and indulge in contraband on occasion;-). I'm a pretty laid back and casual girl. I am looking to meet a friend that hopefully evolves in a meaningful partner. While I respect the initial phases of dating, and length of time it takes to get to know someone, I am not looking for casual dating. Honesty and communication skills are a must for me. I am trying out the online thing, you never know where you might meet someone, right?

I currently work in HR and am also a full time grad student. My faith, family and friends are all very important to me. My siblings all live close and I spend many of my weekends at our family cabin during the summer. When we get together we play a lot of games - cards, board games, yard games, etc. I love watching baseball - especially outdoors.; Amy Schumer make me laugh. Have you ever seen Amy's skit of O'Nutters?!? HI-LAR-I-OUS! I own my house so there's always something to be done in the yard or inside. I like all sorts of music from Country to Christian to Jazz, etc. I have a great sense of humor and think laughter should be an important part of every day. I try to volunteer on a regular basis and also have my purple belt in Taekwondo - so don't mess with me! Something that would allow us to get to know each other but would keep us active - like bowling or mini-golf.

These are difficult to start...it's like a job interview without the questions. I moved up to the Twin Cities in June ***. I've enjoyed exploring the area and finding out what's around here. I work with students with Autism, and I love my job. I find the work I do very rewarding. Some hobbies of mine include crafts (knitting, crocheting, quilting) and I've started to branch out into playing with paints. I am a bit of a techie and a bit of a nerd. I almost always have music playing, especially when I'm in my office. I've been into British pop chicks lately, but I listen to country and rock as well. I do enjoy sports, especially when I can go to a live game. Football, hockey or baseball, they are all fun to watch.I've noticed that a lot of guys state they are very particular in what a woman looks like (body type). I am not a toothpick, I don't think I ever will be. I have curves, and I have to work hard to keep a figure. I work out several times a week, and I try to eat healthy. I've completed one 5K this past summer, and since it was ***degrees out we walked it, and will be preparing for another 5K that my company is sponsoring in April. I'm looking for someone who can carry on a conversation, has goals/dreams and isn't afraid to work hard to get them. Someone who can enjoy going out to a concert, play, museum, etc or be just as happy staying in and watching a movie on the couch. Somewhere neutral like a coffee shop.
