About Me

I'm a bit of a night owl...so here I am at 1am filling out this profile. I've been wavering on joining for a while, mostly because I'm a very social person in my daily life and like to meet new people that way. That said, LA is a crazy city for dating and I thought why not? Might be fun. I own my own business, it's an entertainment website that I started about two and a half years ago. It's a start up so it's a lot of work and I still have another job to pay the bills working as a social media manager for brands, (so I work A LOT) but I love what I am doing and I know how to make time for people that are important to me! My professional background is in TV -Film and it would be great to meet someone with similar passions but equally nice to meet someone not in the industry : )I'm really close with my family and still have the same friends from childhood. I'm the type of person who is comfortable in almost any situation- I love meeting new people and trying new things. I enjoy hosting and having friends over, going to the movies, going out to eat, and hiking with my dog (although she is is getting a bit too old to make it up Runyon now). I'm outgoing, talkative, honest, loyal and will pretty much tell you anything you want to know...and then some! I love to tell stories. But I can be a good listener too. Clearly I love to talk...and write!I'm looking to meet someone I enjoy spending time with and see where it develops from there. I hope to find someone with similar interests but also who has their own passions and experiences to share. Someone who knows what they are looking for in life, someone that is social, and someone who is driven and enjoys being with a woman who has those qualities. As much as I like to always be busy- be it work or out with friends- I also enjoy a good night in on the couch with a blanket and a movie! And someone who can tell me when to slow down now and then and actually make me listen! I'm a bit of a goof ball too so hope you enjoy a girl that will make you laugh and be a total dork! For me, the number one quality is a guy that can make be laugh and can take a bit of sarcasm and banter. Of course, mutual attraction is important too. My only real deal breaker is lack of communication. We all have lives going on but if you disrespect my time, I will cut you out of mine. And not a big fan of smoking!Lastly, it would be nice to find a guy that is confident in himself but also comfortable enough to be vulnerable and sensitive and actually say what's going through his head...     I think I'm totally easy going now that I'm in my 30's, still have the feistyness of a 23 year old but know how to chill it out when needed. I love dancing, I was a ballet dancer for 24 years but I don't do any kind of dancing anymore unless it's in my living room, bathroom, the occasional wedding, car, or if I hear a song that just gets me moving. So along with dancing I would think you would have to love music which I do, I'm still big into alternative or indie music since that's what I grew up with during my adolescence years. Growing up a bit I was big into the club/rave scene and still do love house music. I am really open to any kind of music except I just can't do County. Right now I'm working with children and would like to become a teacher or work with kids outside of school helping them to calm their mind and use it for better things than to hit, scream, etc. I do study Buddhism because I like the philosophy and I have been on many silent retreats for meditation. I love traveling and trying new things culturally and am not afraid of trying different things especially food...feeling about done talking about myself, if you like anything you've read let me know, I'll be here. Oohhh if I could have the ultimate first date it would probably be a hodgepodge of all my loves, like looking at the ocean with a great bottle of wine, while really getting to know each other. Doing something fun and exciting on the date, from a roller-coaster to paragliding. But I am also so easy to please and if you give some great thought into it I am always greatly appreciative. Like going to one of your favorite restaurants that you have loved for years. The little thoughts from you go a long way for me.
