I'm not sure if meeting people online works for me (what I love about meeting people is the repartee, communication, personality, conversation, and common interests! I teach high school English and have for the past few years. I love teaching because I enjoy helping others grow in understanding and I think it is so important to be able to communicate well and think critically. I also teach dance. The most important person to me is Jesus. I don't like the term "religion"; to me it is a relationship. As for taste in music, etc., I love all types; since I dance ballet, hip-hop, modern, jazz, salsa, swing, and country, that covers a wide variety of music. As for food, I love ethnic foods, especially Indian, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, and Italian. I like trying new things, though I'm not a big risk-taker. Oh, I do like skiing too (snow and water). And I have traveled some and only want to travel more! There is something so exciting about experiencing different cultures, food, traditions, etc. There is so much more I could say, but why tell you everything now? ;) I think going to a movie is the worst first date option ever! Something where we could talk and do an activity would be ideal; playing pool, going kayaking, dinner, coffee (though I prefer tea!), or something similar. Conversation is key!

My first time on a website like this (which my friend talked me into). Not really sure what I'm looking to get out of this, but it would be nice to meet a genuine person. I'm an animal lover, as of right now I have a cat (Sam). I just recently lost my dog/best friend/furry child. I love to travel, I've been to about 15 countries, and can't wait to see more. Music is also an important part of my life. I pretty much like everything other than country. I've been single for 2 years, not complaining about it at all. It's nice to just enjoy your own company sometimes. However, on the flip side i'd love to share my life with the right person... "Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart, Like... why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?" I'm not a jealous person and don't really care for people who are. I think the most important things in a relationship are respect and communication. I am not looking for a man to take care of me, but I'm wondering does chivalry still exist?
