I see meetville has a new "Meet me" feature. If you really want to meet me, don't you think you should send me a message *** says this spot is to include my "likes/dislikes, aspirations, the type of person you'd like to meet etc." Well that's pretty open.. "etc" could be almost anything! I have two cats but would like a dog eventually. I work for a non-profit and absolutely love it: even a bigger paycheck could not compete with the satisfaction of contributing to the amazing work we do. To stay in shape, I bike to work (and everywhere I can!), do yoga and go to the gym. I used to bike home through the Don Valley trails, and it really was a great way to end the day. One of my favourite activities is my book club. We've been meeting for 10 years now, and they are among my closest friends. I read anyway, so it's wonderful to combine that with socializing and the amazing book discussion. Our next book is The Dinner, and it was a compelling read. So I think that covered a lot of the "etc" part. I don't really have a type, but one of the things I've noticed I'm attracted to is intelligence and the ability to debate with me--I love opinions, but opinions that can be backed by discussion is much better. I love a sense of humour--if you can't laugh at the world it will get you down. And caring about the world and the people around you are a definite bonus--there are lots of people out there who are only out for themselves, but I don't want to hang out with them. What I'm looking for? Something long-term, since I've passed the point where flings are something I want to spend energy on. If that's what you're looking for too, I look forward to chatting with *** lot of people message me with a compliment. Compliments are nice, but they don't start a conversation. Read my profile, ask me a question about my interests, maybe tell me what we have in common--that's how you get a conversation going. Meeting at Starbucks for coffee and roaming around Indigo is a great way to meet for the first time. I also do enjoy the standard dinner-and-a-movie, but maybe for a second date. Walking up Yonge?) or a bike ride--or skating/tobogganing, in the winter.

A quick synopsis of me: I'm told I'm outgoing, fun, and intelligent and I love trying new things. Looking for people who want to hang out and who don't discriminate because I don't have kids yet. I like bike riding, movies, concerts, dancing, cooking, and working out. Unfortunately a large portion of my time is spent working and I would like to change that. Honesty and openness as well as communication are key with me. Give me a try, at the very least you'll get a decent conversation and I'm pretty good at making people laugh.

Im a recovering work-a-holic, HELP me figure out what I like to do when not at work!!! I just got a new job so that I could have more free time. I am now one of those Monday thru Friday kinda people. In other news, my focus is on being healthy again. Long story short; my curves have curves and that's just not right! Im focusing on eating properly and not "on the run" With this new job getting to get to the gym should be easier. Actually, I cant wait for a good hike, wanna come?Non work life - I enjoy going to the movies or going to the redbox. Bowling is fun, I suck at it but like it. If you want to play a game of darts or pool with me, expect for it to take twice as long as a person who knows what they are doing. I also like to pretend I know what I am doing when it comes to photography and selecting wines (ask about my "high tech" way of selecting a good wine) I love to cook and entertain.I feel the need to mention, this being a dating/networking site and all, that I am hear to find guys to hang out with and see what happens. Shall it be friends, or a romantic partnership. I know what I want in a partner, and wont settle for less. Its not much I promise, at least I dont think it is. Is being stable in your life, somewhat healthy (or on your way to being) and having all your teeth really too much to ask for? Well, is it? I like the traditional guys ask girl on first day, guy plans date. I would hope he plan would include time to chart and learn about each other. Of course, if I ask for the date I will plan it, taking all I know about you to make sure its something exciting and new as well as fun and give us time to learn about each other.
