Looking for: man. In age: 30-40
I'm a confident women, why? because I have myself together! I have no drama, I have my finances covered, a job I love! I have wonderful smart athletic kids, a family that is the best and friends that are amazing!! what I don't have, a MAN! someone who also has their life together, no drama, someone who doesn't lie or cheat, and most important, the balls to say Hey, it isn't gonna work, not someone who just stops talking to you and then show up back on line dating, that's disrespectful.

Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
I love to dance. The outdoors, camping hiking, canoeing, cross country skiing are among my favorite activities. I'm very adventurous. Try me, I bet I'm up for it. I also value my quiet time, whether it's reading a good book, tea/coffee over a good conversation, or watching a movie.I really like people, there's so much we can learn from each other. I enjoy hearing others point view, sometimes I agree and some times I don't. I usually find the conversations that rub me the wrong way are the ones I learn the most from. I find conversations about social issues and the environment to be very interesting. I try my best to honor my self while being considerate to others and the environment. I try to send out positive energy where ever I go, I usually have a smile for that stranger at the bus stop.I consider my self to be a spiritual person. I believe in going with the flow of the universe, even if I sometimes try to fight it. I am not religious in a churchy way.I'm not really a girlie girl but I do like to dress up. I'm most comfortable in my favorite ripped up jeans, that old t shirt I got at a concert, I made or has some sort of sentimental value to me. That being said I work in an industry where being 'fashionable' is important so don't wear jeans and a t shirt most days. I really like theme parties. Halloween is not just for kids!I play Ultimate frisbee. I'm learning to salsa dance, and learning to play the guitar. Sadly cross country ski season is over. (I can role on flat water, turns out it's a lot harder in the current) I work at a job I love. Having worked saturdays for most of my life I feel I have not gotten outdoors enough considering how much I love it! I no longer work saturdays and plan to get in to a canoe and or go hiking as much as I can this summer. Some of my long term goals include, traveling over seas hopefully in march I'll walk the cameno de santiago. One day I'll hopefully settle down and have a couple/few kids with a supportive loving partner. I'd like to go back to school possibly after the above. I do have a back up plan to travel... a lot if I don't have kids. I'm not looking to rush in to a relationship. I'm quite an independent woman, I don't want to be in a relationship just to have a boyfriend. That being said if I meet the right person I'd be open to a serious relationship. Here is a sample of what kind of music I like.......;; The Magnetic Zeros, Feist, The Rapture, Hot Chip, the list goes on and on...... Coffee, conversation, a walk in a park....

SOME THINGS I BELIEVE TO BE TRUE: I believe that hugs, laughter and dogs can cure all. I believe that actions speak louder than words. I believe happiness is a choice. I believe in being true to yourself. I believe in taking every chance you get because life is short and unpredictable. I believe in myself, family, friends and the humankind. I believe that people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I believe in true love. RANDOM PIECES OF INFO ABOUT ME: I never wear two of the same socks, I once inadvertently worked on a Harre Krishna community in Argentina. In high school I broke my pinky and had to go to pinky rehab. I was once told I should come with a helmet and a warning I thought this was a little harsh but probably also a little true. I use turn singles in garages. After 8 years in the corporate world l found myself following my passion and am now in my last year of graduate school for social work. I am fortunate to have life long friends and I am actually someone who enjoys spending time with their family. My brother is my hero. I have a 10 year old English bull dog of whom I debated putting a picture up but I didn’t want her picture out there for any dognappers on the net (because she is that adorable) THINGS THAT MAKE ME SMILE: Waterfalls, mountains, Autumn, journey rocks, collecting quotes, fires, taking photos, music, children laughing (this may come across creepy but they make me smile in the least creepy way) dogs, picnics, people watching in foreign countries, long dinners, inspirational people, reclaimed wood, lights, libraries, coconut water, pumpkin pie, kale, green tea and coffee.YOU: Looking for someone with the same loyalty and consistency I value with my family and friends. Someone who makes me laugh. He is funny, honest, sexy, kind, affectionate, authentic, adventurous, understanding and sensitive yet strong. He is hardworking and passionate about what he does. He is secure with himself. He has a clear understanding of what is fair and unfair and has the drive to change circumstances. He is educated and sees education/learning as a life long process. He respecst himself and everyone around him. Reviewing our dating profiles for accuracy and updating *** jokes aside you can meet someone who fits all the criteria you highlight on your profile and someone who you think you should be with, but somehow it just isn’t right. It’s all about chemistry and connection face to face. Chemistry is the one thing no one can control and it’s not easily translated into questionnaires, photos, texts etc. So a first date would be getting to know each other, smiling, laughing and just being open to anything happening.
