I love online marketing. I’m a kind person who believes in true love, and unfortunately single. I want to be part of a couple that can generate synergy. Looking for a smart person to settle down with.

Hi everyone! Let's start with a little about me. Early 30's, I have been single for while. Getting older means I learned what I like, what I don't like, what I want, what I hope for my future. One thing I know is I would like to share that future with a nice and caring man, with whom I can be myself.I have a job that I like, for a great company and my colleagues are awesome. I spend lots of hours there in a week so it's always been important for me to enjoy what I do for a living. Beside working, I enjoy reading (and I do read a lot!), having a drink with friends, watching tv series (among my favorites Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, Leverage…). I enjoy cooking (but I do prefer cooking for two), photography, doing puzzles, crosswords. I'm not really athletic. I started running last summer and to my big surprise I liked it! I didn't run much due to an injury in the past month, and then came the big lack of motivation, but I started Focus T25 and love its intensity! Very happy about it. I also practiced yoga weekly with the girls from work. Session is over but I'd love to do some again in the future. I like to laugh and I am a good public. I like to talk about various subjects, exchanging ideas, debating points. On lots of topic there is no right or wrongs, just opinions and I think it is important to respect people's opinion. I like history, science, everything that is weird or seem impossible. I am looking for a man who's ready to invest himself in a relationship. A man who has time for a lady but who is also independant. A man I can share activities with, good moments, laughs. I like a man who's smart (I think smart is sexy) and who likes to smile. I think a relationship is about chemistry. About working on something together. It's not just about me, not just about you, it's about what we both want and need. So let's see if we can work it together :-) First meeting is always a little ackward. There is that few minutes where you can feel time float... I would think just a drink, casual, talking. See where it goes and if you have a second drink!

1. Well, as listed under interests, one of my hobbies is acting. I do several shows a year at a community theater, and it takes up a lot of my time. I also act with a troupe that does a living chessboard at a nearby medieval faire. I work at my church a lot - singing, working with the teens. I don't suppose that's really a hobby, but in my book it is - it certainly takes up enough of my time. I also paint, though I seem to be doing that less and less. I paint sets for almost all of the shows that I work on, and that seems to be the only time I pick up a paintbrush lately. I enjoy doing lots of things, so don't count something out just because I didn't list it here - ask me!2. My ultimate goal is to get paid to travel for a living - preferably doing something like photography. However, if we're being realistic, it's just to keep getting paid for a job I love doing. I do programs for children and teens at a public library. It's a job that lets me perform, have fun, and be creative!3. Talk about myself? Hmmm... Well for one thing, I can't stand stupid people. It sounds harsh, but really I just want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone. I love to laugh at the ridiculous - I have a blog I write about all the crazy things that people around me say and do. I am extremely independent - I don't like people to become dependent upon me for happiness, or to become too clingy. I'm on this site as kind of a lark, since right now my schedule is so jam-packed I don't know how I can fit in a relationship. I love to perform and entertain. I'm sarcastic and witty - though more so online than in person, I think. I've been bitten by the travel bug, and have a thirst for learning about different cultures and seeing many different places. I've been to 6 different countries and pretty much want to go to all the rest of them. Major anglophile. I love all things British (esp. TV shows)!4. My taste in music varies somewhat, but it's safe to say I like indie/alternative. I also like classic rock and grew up listening to my parents' albums - Something simple. Lunch date is best, that way you can cut your losses if things don't go as well as planned. Though that's more for a blind date or someone you don't know that well. If it's someone you've talked to awhile, it could be different, but a meal is a great way to talk and get to know someone.
