I would like to say I am a simple girl who enjoys the little things. I like long conversations that involve a lot of laughing. A sense of humor will get you far, especially if you can meet my sarcasm with a laugh! I think dating can be awkward, when you are trying to figure out if the other person is into you or not (you know what I mean....we have all been there)! So it's nice when you meet someone and you click! When you meet and there is a sense of comfort and you both a laugh a little and the night goes from there. I like the look you share with someone where nothing has to be said and a smile appears on both your faces. I like good books and good movies, I like to dance to random music as well hop in my car and take a trip, especially when I can sing at the top of my lungs and just let loose! I seem to read a lot of profiles that tell how active people are. I personally don't have a problem with that but I tend to be a person to curl up to a good book more than go for a run, in fact, I only run when something is chasing me (hopefully that made a few of you smile)!Education is my passion in life! I tend to be a workaholic which makes it difficult to meet people at times but I am hoping to change that! I have a lot of goals for myself and I would love to find someone who is as driven as I am and someone who wants to share all of that with me! So let's share some common interests and learn from one another. Are you up for the challenge?!! I am not a formal dinner and movie kind of girl. Give me a walk in the park, a car ride on the back roads, a live band playing at a bar, comedy club, or....you decide! Anything that allows me the opportunity to get to know you and it puts a smile on my face....

im an easygoing full figured girl, who is unlucky in love. i love to spend time with my friends, and if i find someone im compatible with, i like to spend time with them as well. i work full time as a desk clerk at a local hotel. i am a single mother/zookeeper of a 9 year old child/monkey, whichever way you want to look at it. he is my world, and comes first. before anything and everything else. so if you respond to this, you already know. if you don't like that fact, then don't bother responding at all.the kind of people i'm looking to hang out with are mature, laid back, not fake, and not the kind to talk about people behind their backs.i can't stand cling. so those guys who want to breathe down someone's neck and control my every move need not even attempt to message me. i am my own person, and if i spend the day with my son, or go out with my best friend i dont want to have to answer 8 million questions about where i was at and who i was with. if i say i want to be alone, i just want an hour or two to be alone.

1. Well, as listed under interests, one of my hobbies is acting. I do several shows a year at a community theater, and it takes up a lot of my time. I also act with a troupe that does a living chessboard at a nearby medieval faire. I work at my church a lot - singing, working with the teens. I don't suppose that's really a hobby, but in my book it is - it certainly takes up enough of my time. I also paint, though I seem to be doing that less and less. I paint sets for almost all of the shows that I work on, and that seems to be the only time I pick up a paintbrush lately. I enjoy doing lots of things, so don't count something out just because I didn't list it here - ask me!2. My ultimate goal is to get paid to travel for a living - preferably doing something like photography. However, if we're being realistic, it's just to keep getting paid for a job I love doing. I do programs for children and teens at a public library. It's a job that lets me perform, have fun, and be creative!3. Talk about myself? Hmmm... Well for one thing, I can't stand stupid people. It sounds harsh, but really I just want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone. I love to laugh at the ridiculous - I have a blog I write about all the crazy things that people around me say and do. I am extremely independent - I don't like people to become dependent upon me for happiness, or to become too clingy. I'm on this site as kind of a lark, since right now my schedule is so jam-packed I don't know how I can fit in a relationship. I love to perform and entertain. I'm sarcastic and witty - though more so online than in person, I think. I've been bitten by the travel bug, and have a thirst for learning about different cultures and seeing many different places. I've been to 6 different countries and pretty much want to go to all the rest of them. Major anglophile. I love all things British (esp. TV shows)!4. My taste in music varies somewhat, but it's safe to say I like indie/alternative. I also like classic rock and grew up listening to my parents' albums - Something simple. Lunch date is best, that way you can cut your losses if things don't go as well as planned. Though that's more for a blind date or someone you don't know that well. If it's someone you've talked to awhile, it could be different, but a meal is a great way to talk and get to know someone.
