About Me

The head line is only meant to be a witty quote of a great, classic song having to do with fish. I don’t feel like a lost soul, and I’m not looking for a lost soul. Rather, I’d like to meet someone with a genuine and content soul of their own…to hang out with mine. After paying attention to couples for awhile, I can say that what I don’t want is to be one half of a couple that stares into space at dinner, complains constantly about the other to friends, that doesn’t enjoy the other person for who they are, and that is just in a relationship out of loneliness, societal pressure, or for some other misguided motive. I am happy, and whole, and feel complete without being in a relationship. I would love to meet another person to have fun and share experiences with, but I will never jeopardize my integrity by wasting my time or yours. I do want a family though and everything that comes along with it. Starting with dating first. I'm in no rush. I've been wild, and explored life and the world. Now it's time to explore something new . I would like to settle down with the right person, but I won't just settle either. I believe for a relationship to work, you have got to be friends with each other, laugh often, have fun, stimulating conversation, mutual respect, shared interests, morals and values that are in sync, trust, honesty, and of course, passion.So a bit about me: My appearance can be deceiving. The tattoos throw people off and many assume I am someone I am not. I am educated and well-traveled…I’m independent, feisty and opinionated while at the same time kind, considerate, and loyal. I own a culinary services business and I'm a few classes away from having a bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. I have two rad pit- It would be awesome to meet a single father as well. With the business, school, and my son, I'm a busy girl. I do have time for dating but taking it slow is a must. But this momma needs to get out and have some fun, conversation, and laughs with a member of the opposite sex.. :) I love the outdoors and doing stuff…any stuff that includes living life to its fullest. I’m laid back, witty, and sarcastic and love nothing more than laughing. I also like get-togethers with friends, and evenings (or days) on the couch with netflix. I'm pretty versatile. I can be crass, foul-mouthed, and vulgar…but know when to act like a lady. That being said, I know when to put the make-up on and when to take it off. I can spend a day riding dirt-bikes, and an evening at a gallery opening….a tomboy with a feminine side. Unconventional and against the grain also describes me. Regardless of this long winded profile that you may or may not like, chemistry is everything. The people I have enjoyed and respected most in life likely would not have been chosen based on a picture and a handful of words about themselves. "Shopping" for a person to spend time with is still a new concept for me...and I'm not sure how I feel about it. But I look forward to the possibilities. Something simple. But please, let's leave our ex's out of the conversation until the time is right to talk about them. A first date is not the right time.
