Like many people here, I am a transplant from somewhere else and absolutely love it. I'm not planning on moving back but do try to visit once or twice a year and we talk on the phone regularly. That being said, I do not have any drama with my ex and am looking gor the same.Though I admit I don't know a lot of people here, I do have a small group of friends that enjoy spending time with. I have either been finishing up school or working on developing my career in some other manner.. I can be a little shy at first but warm up quickly. I am not looking for a penpal but do enjoy getting to know someone a little through talking, texting, etc before actually meeting them. In a relationship, I tend to be very playful and affectionate. I enjoy TASTEFUL displays of affection. I have a wide range of interests so fit nicely in any situation. I love the outdoors and think the fresh air is good for your body and your soul. The heat and humidity here do not bother me. I also enjoy dressing up and going out. I enjoy dancing and would love to take either country dance lessons or salsa. I love animals but do not currently have time for pets of my own. I currently live on the West side but am contemplating moving closer to my work in the Galleria area. I enjoy working out at the gym and would love a workout partner. Well, I suppose I should leave something to be talked about when you contact me. I look forward to hearing from you. I don't really think you can learn much about someone in a 30 minute interview at Starbucks. I think a quiet lunch somewhere that we can sit and talk and get to know each other is perfect. It doesn't have to be expensive. I'm not going to be impressed by the amount of money you spend on me. It's the amount of thought that goes behind it and the comfort and ease of the conversation are important. If we are still enjoying each others company after that and ready to leave the restaurant but not ready to part company, maybe a walk in the park or on the beach or maybe we found that we have both been dying to see the same movie that just came out. I'll even spring for dessert and coffee after the movie if you want to go back and hit the restaurant again where the best first date you ever had started ;)

I consider myself to be a "young" 52 year-old. I take very good care of myself, working out regularly at the gym and I lead a very healthy life-style. I'm friendly, down to earth and enjoy good conversation, coffee, and lots of laughs. I value people with morals and surround myself with positive, humorous, and kind people. I like most kinds of music and enjoy bands and concerts. I'm spontaneous, open-minded and don't mind breaking my routine for something fun or someone special. I take each day as it comes, and try to appreciate the simpler things in life.

Hi, I am forever updating my profile to add or delete things as my life goes on and changes.I am very independent, own my own townhouse, pay my own bills, do not need a man to make me happy or take care of me, just would like someone to share my life and time with. I have had all the toys and the finer things in life and none of that impresses me and nor do I need them to be happy, its "you" I want to know and could care less if you made 10 bucks an hour or a ***.I would like someone that luvs to be together and misses each other when apart, takes me for who I am and doesn't want to change me, nor would I want you to change. Someone to laugh, and cry with, walk beside me and not in front of me. someone that likes me when looking my best and still loves me when at my worst. A romantic, sensitive, strong, reliable, trustworthy person. First things first, I want a best friend. Hopeless romantic is deffinately what I am.I was married for many years (I said married not burried) and know a thing or two, and I do know how to make a long term relationship work, it takes effort on both parts to make it all happen. I lost my best friend and do not want to loose another. No I do not want to be glued to your hip, I have enough to carry around as it is. You have your friends I have mine and we should be able to do things with them together as well as apart.I have one Daughter which is 32 and lives in SC with her guy. She is the light of my life and I miss her dearly since she has moved. I am not religious but firmly believe in God, he is my power to move on from all that has happened in my life and for whatever may come my way in the future.Well that pretty much says it, so if you want more information just ask I will tell ya anything. (well almost anything, lol)Happy fishen and good luck:***Have a great day! Meeting for lunch or dinner, go for a bike ride or just having a drink and getting to know one another.
