Or maybe looks are the most important thing to you. Keep going. When a hand is extended upon meeting someone new and the handshake is not accepted, that's an insult. If someone writes to me, even though I'm not interested, I do send a response. What's wrong with the rest of you? Do you have so many friends that you don't need another? I'm just saying, it's rude not to respond when someone makes a friendly gesture. I don't feel you can get to know someone well through texting and IM. I like to go to the phone pretty quickly, hear a person's voice, laugh with them and see if we have anything to say to each other.While I am looking for a long term relationship, I'm also interested in making new friends. As for the relationship thing, I am looking for that man who can look me in the eye, always tell me the truth and make me laugh. You might think that telling the truth is easy but I've come to find people avoid it when they think someone will get mad at them for saying it. I prefer to tell the truth and hear the truth, even if it hurts someone's feelings or mine. Those that prefer to deal with things by using the silent treatment need not apply. ALSO, SINCE I RIDE MY OWN MOTORCYCLE, I'D PREFER SOMEONE WHO RIDES FOR A RELATIONSHIP. Nothing better than being on the road with your someone special. If you don't ride, I know we could be friends but if you didn't like motorcycles and many people don't, well, that wouldn't work out.I believe myself to be intelligent, hilarious and sexy. I am passionate about many things, in a relationship and in the world. I believe that I can do anything (my mom agrees)and I usually succeed, sometimes due to blind luck. I am a smart ass and politically, libertarian is about the only thing I can find some agreement on. One of my friends says I'm a redneck-liberal. About church and God. I don't go but I believe...something I read in an *** "I'd rather be on my bike thinking about God then be in church thinking about my bike." I say "Thank God" everytime I ride for giving me a good day to ride and the ability to ride my own.I'm hoping to find the person who is already the way I imagine my man to be. Hopefully, I might be close to your ideal. Let's face it. We're grown and pretty much set in our ways. I've also found something out about kissing. If you don't like the way someone kisses, where can you go from there? Friends for sure. I like my kisses slow, soft and sensual. Hard and quick is only good for a couple of things...kissing is not one of them.I am a free spirited, slightly opinionated woman and hoping to find the same in a man. I love the wind in my face, whether on a horse, a motorcycle, the beach or the top of a mountain. If you have little interest in music or listen to things like smooth jazz or easy listening, we ain't gonna get along. Don't know much about classical music but wouldn't mind learning more.One more caveat. I treat others the way I would like them to treat me. This means I try to always do what I say I'm going to do.     Oh, lordy! Where do I begin? This is my first time doing something like this, so bear with me. I am looking for somebody to settle down with because I'm getting too damn old!
