About Me

I am a combination of lighthearted, zany, peaceful, and intelligent. I have a lot of energy, 2 teenagers, and work with children to keep me grounded and young at heart. I wake up early and do a lot of thinking on long walks to get my day started without coffee. I enjoy a variety of music from salsa to R&B to classical, and a glass of wine or beer occasionally with all types of food, from BBQ to sushi to crab feast to anything ethnic. I eat with gusto and appreciation (I stay slim with my extra foot of storage space :-). I am athletic and enjoy yoga, hiking, skiing, biking, and anything around the water. I'm well traveled (have visited over a dozen countries) and also a member of a book club so that I can travel to different places and perspectives just by turning a few pages. I do some gardening because I love fresh tomatoes and colorful flowers and the sweet smell of roses.At 6'5" I'm undoubtedly the tallest female most people have ever met, but I'm well proportioned and coordinated and confident and feminine and normal, whatever that is! That being said, it makes practical sense for me to be matched with someone over 6 feet tall, although if that's all we have in common it won't be enough. No offense to anyone under 6'. There are many non-height-related things that appeal to me in a man. I'm looking for someone who is sociable, easygoing and good humored, a good conversationalist with or without an alcoholic beverage, has a zest for life, respects himself and others in the way he talks, acts, and dresses.
