I am in a good spot in my life and happy where I am in it. But to compliment it, it would be great to be in a relationship. My children are out of the nest & making their way through life now, so I seem to have more time to share & enjoy all of the things "being a couple" gives. I would like to enjoy a relationship with a man who knows what he wants in his life. A perfect pairing on paper perhaps isn't always what it seems, if the chemistry in person isn't there. To respond to the above "profession" question, - yup - after over ***years with a company, it downsized and I was caught up in corporate decisions. I am actively job hunting, but can afford to be somewhat choosy. I am thinking I want a fun job - like on a golf course or helping people out, would be a nice switch from a rat race kind of a career. : ) I enjoy activies such as golfing, gardening, cooking, reading (although can't really say that's overly active!) , games night, floor hockey, going to the gym (groan) , exploring small towns, camping, attending concerts,festivals and live sporting events. Movie night is another great option. Smell of popcorn... yum. I've started getting the travel bug, so I am looking forward to doing some more. I can relax with the best of them, however, I prefer to be on the move or have something in the queue so to speak.Music - always have something on...I enjoy a little bit of mostly everything, great ipod selection, but have to say, country music wins out the most. ** I will respond to everyone that sends me an *** it's tough to measure the seriousness or intent behind the "meet me" button, so feel free to drop me a line. I enjoy a lot of things in life mainly the simple things. I love my family, and am raising my grandson. He is a blessing to my life in many ways, as are my children. I love my job which is Hospice and I enjoy doing taxes for people. I hope to someday find my best friend, companion, and life long love. I know my soul mate is out there and when the time is right we will be brought together.I know life is hard and pure true love is even harder for some to find. Life is not always easy but if we work at it together it can be easier. I don't want to play games with the heart because life is to short for that. My little man has autism at the high functioning end, so life can be a little crazy at times. I do not want a fly by night relationship, i would love to have a very loving, kind, eternal relationship where we stand by each other. I am my own person as you are your own person, we both need me time as well as together time and family time.I have a lot to offer the right man in my life and he can ask anyone who knows me, my friends all know what type of a person I am so *** asking me the type of person I am you can ask my friends. I do not boast about myself because that is just not right, but am I confident in who I am yes is there room for improvement yes just like with everyone out there because no one is perfect. So I know the Mr. Right is out there for me. It is just a matter of time. I know he will enjoy having someone who loves him, compliments him, enjoys and is excited to have him come home, and enjoys having a date night with him and etc...Always remember to smile at someone because it will change someones day :-) Down to earth nothing fancy. Something we both can agree up on. Dinner, a walk or just meeting and talking with each other. You don't have to go all out for a fancy dinner or anything like that. Just be ourselves is all. It has been a long time since I have been on a date. If we hit it off great. If not then that is ok to.
