I welcome the simple indulgences in life. I enjoy dressing up and feeling feminine, but I am just as comfortable in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with my hair pulled up. My focus is more on enjoying the moment than how I look. I take pleasure in dancing and singing (although I am not necessarily good at either). I enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and partake in long walks, hiking, backpacking, kayaking (own a 2-seater!), fishing, camping, biking and snowshoeing. I've competed in various sports throughout my life and attended college on a basketball and academic scholarship. My free time is filled with attending sporting events, movies, reading, volunteering, the attractions of the city, and visiting with friends or family. I also relish "down time" and the pleasures of cuddling in front of a fire while listening to music or watching a movie. I'm open to exploring other's interests and activities. I'm well-balanced, educated, optimistic, out-going, affectionate, and a good communicator and listener. Frequently I laugh at myself, as I appreciate a sense of humor. I have a sound job, am financially stable and am proud of my accomplishments. I have lived a meaningful life and wear my wrinkles and scars with pride. My greatest success in life is having raised two amazing kids, who are now 21 and 23 years old. What do I want in a relationship?     Looking for fun and adventure? I used to say I'd try anything once, maybe twice, you know, just to be sure. But now that I'm a bit older, I may have to skip the skydiving.
