Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
I like all the usual things...dining, going out with friends, family, movies, concerts, the beach, traveling, reading, gardening, walking, the gym, hiking, biking, animals, and good ole Mother Nature.....I am open to new interests and new people. Luv to soak in my hot tub with a glass of wine after a hectic day. I love to laugh so a sense of humor is an absolute must. I'm laid back, easy going, have great attention to detail, a sense of style and decorative flair. I have close family ties and long-term friends and believe people in your life are more important than things in your life. I'm the total package and you should be too!! Anything really on a first date where you can talk and get to know each other without screaming over a loud crowd.

Woman. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 52-62
I am truly a happy person and I would love to meet a special man with whom to share my joy. I am looking for a committed relationship, but hope to find someone who understands that relationships and the trust that goes with them take time. I'm willing to make the investment. I am looking for someone who gets that at this stage of life, wisdom accompanies recognition and acceptance of imperfection. Smiles come easy to me and a sense of humor in a man is essential. I have reached a point in my life where my time is free to dedicate on other pursuits after years as a dedicated, single mom. My daughter is fabulous and in college and I see her whenever I can. I create a busy life for myself, but don't be discouraged! I will reorganize to spend time with the right person. I am a passionate person, about many things. I hope you are too! I love to see live music (especially at outdoor venues), venture out to new places, take in festivals of any kind, stay in with friends by the pool or chiminea, travel to the lake, kayak, dance to country, blues, or just about anything. I work out regularly at a gym, sing in a choir, create unique, healthy and delicious meals and sample wine given any opportunity. I enjoy the outdoors, camping and even fishing. Quiet time by the lake or campfire is pure joy. Beaches are my preference. (Not much of a cold weather gal, but I have been known to read by the fire and work out in the gym to hang with the snow bunnies.) I'm a dog (not a cat) person (sorry I'm allergic). I like to travel but admittedly most of my travels have remained domestic. Hoping to expand those horizons. My friendships are extremely important to me and I am committed to maintaining them.I'm a hard worker and have a career that I thoroughly enjoy and in which I take pride. I like to believe that I make a difference in the world. My free time, however, is the most important time to me. I am an extrovert and people person and love engaging in conversation. I believe that communication is essential to any relationship.I am a strong person, probably a factor of many life challenges. I believe in doing the right thing. I am outspoken and direct.I do not debate politics, but if you can't tolerate a liberal mindset, we will not be a good match.I am looking for a true partner in a man, someone I know will have my back and I his. I have learned to open my heart and am excited about the prospect of someone truly touching it again. Mutual respect and support seem hard to come by at this stage of life and I wonder why that is. I'm willing to keep trying until I find him. Some of the qualities I look for in a man: funny, intelligent, self-confident, kind, appreciative and respectful of women. Above all, he should be a good communicator. I hope for a partner with whom the hours will race because there is so much to learn and understand about each other. I'm not one to pretend to please and do not misrepresent who I am inside and am looking for like qualities in a man. I like an accomplished man but run from arrogance and if you get that, bingo! I have a very down to earth nature. Finally, I am most attracted to men who lead a healthy lifestyle (meaning they take care of their minds and their bodies) and who are "gentlemen" in the old fashioned sense. In spite of my strength, I like to be treated like a "lady." Who doesn't like being made to feel special? Yes, I am a romantic. :-) I am also a realist. I love the written word, write poetry and love a beautiful turn of phrase. I am an open book and if you want to learn more, please say hello. Peace and joy and thanks for stopping by! Casual conversation over lunch or a glass of wine until we know if there is mutual interest and chemistry.

independent (uh-oh) artsy, happy, low-maintenance kind of gal with various interests.looking for friends and more.i've had a great time in my life. adventure has always been a running theme for me. i work hard but play with even more ferocity. at this point i'm most interested in the quality of time spent. brain massage first then whatever may follow.my will is free.i live alive.open to possibility , there are always new stories to collect. starts with waking up every day : ) a simple trip to the grocery store can lead to a strange and hilarious experience.lucky me. i pulled the short straw. my brother taught me to be strong physically (by default !) but he also taught me how to take care of myself. like how to fix the water heater in the middle of the night.not the girly-girl type, i prefer power tools over diamonds(allergic to metals--even gold-- can't wear them but i can use them)...i've got the woman thing down however--i clean up pretty well or so i am told.i attribute that to the discriminating french men and women i lived with in a flat in SF years ago. cracks me up, the reaction i get when i show up for a function in heels and hose. a chameleon of sorts. comfortable in work boots AND stilettos..my son is ,flown the nest and rarely lets me cook for him anymore, he's got his own women taking care of that. but i love to cook. i get a secret thrill after spending the whole day preparing a gourmet meal and then presenting it. then reveling in the inevitable food moaning that ensues.my work can be corporate at times. completely against my grain (hairspray vs. holllyhocks in my locks) but i understand it and morph accordingly when necessary.time away from that madness is spent mucking about my gardens, feeding my brain, and sometimes staring at the clouds from above.every new day has potential for more laughter.serenity now! intelligence and.laughter are essential.if it's cold out, something inside.i can handle a brisk walk in a snowstormbut i prefer the sultry steamy sass of summer. conversation then collaboration.
