I am here like most of you (I hope) looking to meet someone that I can connect with. Someone that I have a few things in common with, including a faith in God. My friends would say that I am someone special, caring, honest, creative and fun to be around...although, they are my friends, what else would they say. I think I am funny sometimes, but you will have to be the judge of that. I enjoy most music, but these days I lean toward contemporary country. My youngest son just started his third year of college. I also have two older sons that are out and on their own. One of them is married. I stay pretty active, workout several times a week, have participated in ***marathons and some 5k's. The most fun was the Warrior Dash. It was super fun and I hope to do it again. Finally got around to doing a zip line. Had all three of my sons home for the weekend and we went. That too, was a lot of fun. Have to work on my landings...so, I need to go again!! :***of my favorite things to do is caving, but my new favorite is kayaking. On a recent canoe trip, I was able to trade places with my nephew and kayak for a while and it is much more fun! You should try it!

Quiet time by the lake or campfire is pure joy. Beaches are my preference. (Not much of a cold weather gal, but I have been known to read by the fire and work out in the gym to hang with the snow bunnies.) I'm a dog (not a cat) person (sorry I'm allergic). I like to travel but admittedly most of my travels have remained domestic. Hoping to expand those horizons.My friendships are extremely important to me and I am committed to maintaining them.I'm a hard worker and have a career that I thoroughly enjoy and in which I take pride. I like to believe that I make a difference in the world. My free time, however, is the most important time to me. I am an extrovert and people person and love engaging in conversation. My home looks over the rushing waters were wildlife raise their young. Richness of life is everywhere. When I arrived on my mountain a mother bear brought her cub into my front yard and left the little fur ball with small black eyes. I was shocked when I stood by my sliding glass door watching the mother dig a big hole for her cub. I was fascinated by the event and could not take my eyes off the black bear. I had never seen a bear in the wild with a tiny cub. I was unaware about the significance of the event. Yes, I am involved with animals. They have shaped my life and soul. If you do not understand the ebb and flow of life you should meet me. I can teach you there is more to earth than the latest cell phone or fashion news flash. I am a positive thinker and enjoy family and good friends. Grilling is a favorite pass time for social gatherings. I love to entertain and socialize when birthday arrives. Balloons and cup cakes bring smiles to the young at heart. If you have a positive nature and enjoy the love of the land then maybe we could share a moment in time. First date is about having fun. A nice restaurant where we can share our journey on life or Starbucks while we sip a hot cup of coffee. I enjoy many places. Mexican restaurants are the best, since I love hot spicy foods.
