I am a people person! I enjoy meeting new people and being with friends and family. Life is an adventure and every day there is something to learn, enjoy and experience. Hiking, camping, paddling are some of my favorite activities. I prefer to canoe and kayak as I like to enjoy the slow pace, the scenery, and sneaking up on wildlife to capture pictures. She and I are avid hikers.I have an addiction to "scary movies" especially Zombie movies, and the cheesier the better! LOL and also enjoy comedies and dramas. I love to explore and I am always on the look out for old abandoned houses to check out. Road trips are lots of fun and exploring new places is a great pastime.- I would take sunset, but there is nothing like being in the canoe in the early morning mist. How would my friends describe me? They tell me that I'm loyal, dependable and faithful. Geesh maybe I'm a yellow lab? They also tell me that I'm intelligent, quick witted , funny, compassionate, and usually able to see both sides of the story. I really enjoy great conversations and the subject matter is not important. Preparing a meal together and chatting about whatever is so much fun. And although my father claimed I was vaccinated with a gramophone needle, I do like quieter times as well. Humour is a must. Laughing is jogging for the insides. I do have a good sense of humour, somewhat offbeat perhaps and if you don't like puns and the odd play on words, I'm probably not a great match.If you have ever wondered what a Luddite might look like today see above. Not the most technologically advanced creature you will ever find. I do own a cell phone but it is rarely used. I believe in reading books you don't have to plug in to charge. My address book can be dropped and I don't panic with worry that it might have been broken. Although I'm comfortable being by myself, I'm hoping to find someone with whom I can share my life. There is a saying, "if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten". Not a one night stand. First date: I really find that a walk around town is a good start, as one gets to talk and walk without so much pressure, and you get to see all the sights and let the conversation go in all sorts of directions. Perhaps a tea or a coffee sitting by the river watching the boats and the geese and ducks is a nice touch too. A first date of a round of golf would be fun.
