Hi. :-)I am a high energy, impetuous and affectionate person. I believe that life, for all it's warts, is good. Laugh loud and often. I value intelligence expressed in a number of ways, not necessarily by degrees, and particularly through humour. Although I value good manners and someone who is sensitive to others, also am I engaged by audacious conversation. One best be prepared to get it back. I enjoy so much......cooking and great food and wine, my iTunes list.....music in general (I am a singer and pianist), literature, conversation, PBS, writing, not writing.....lol. And I enjoy my work. I am told, by those other than my mom, that I am attractive, smart, and funny. And honest. I love physical activity and keeping fit (golf, the gym, walking and running), but am not necessarily looking for a jock...and a six-pack is not an essential criteria.....(wait a minute, opportunity for a witty line)....... Boo. While outgoing in general, I value quiet moments, and am equally happy in my own company. I am a supportive mom to my daughter ***, a good friend to many girlfriends, a mentor to younger colleagues, and a loving member of a large extended family. So yes, I am a strong female, looking for a strong male. Once found, I may not have to be so strong...or maybe stronger. Hmmmm...what the heck am I getting into here? A drink, a walk.....perhaps holding hands if the chemistry seems right.

    My 21 year relationship ended 3 years ago and I'm not sure if I am ready for a relationship, but a friend to get out with is a great start. My children are all adults and I am now down to just the dog and I living together. My dog is a boxer and really comical. Love him to death! I think I went through midlife crisis last year.
