About Me

I am a master's student and *** communication studies. I enjoy activities that help me grow as a person. When I am not working, going to school, or studying... I like to watch new movies or documentaries, cook, play with my dog and hang out with friends. I am an aspiring professor of communication studies. I want to study and teach about how and why people communicate with everyone and everything around them. I believe that my self-awareness, altruistic nature, and outgoing personality make me unique. I am a total people-person. I love learning from and interacting with new people from every walk of life. My idea first date would be something that my date wanted to share with me. If my date is really interested in a particular artist, I would love to go to a showing. If they have a restaurant that they cannot stop raving about, take me there! I am game for just about anything (except things involving sharks, reptiles, or insects, etc.) I believe that people are at their best when they are involved in something that they are passionate about. I would love to see the person that I am out with in that light. I would love for my date to teach me something that they are good at on a first date as well. Maybe how to golf, or to hit a baseball.

    I'm a second year med student so naturally I don't have much time to date or meet new people outside of my school bubble.     1. Hobbies: I like such a mix of different activities and I love trying new things. I graduated as an art minor, so I love going to art shows, or museums. I am better at ceramics but I also like to oil paint. I also love dancing. Salsa dancing is my favorite, and I'm always looking for good places to dance. There is another side of me though. I love being outside and doing athletic things. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, swimming, and paddle boarding. I love playing games- both outside athletic ones (like soccer and ultimate frisbee) but I also love card games and board games. I graduated as a Biology major so I love to learn about how the world works. I especially love the ocean and learning about the animals there- aka I like checking out tide pools. Some of my favorite movies include: Tangled, The Island, Pride and Prejudice, Batman, etc. And l think the last thing important to know about me is that I also love to read and travel. 2. Goals: I really am working on this goals thing right now. I'm trying to decide what to go back to school for a masters. I graduated in general biology, which I loved because it was a little bit of everything, but I'm also not sure what I want to specialize in. I want to help people though. I want a job where I can work with people and help them have a little better day. 3. I'm not sure I have one thing that makes me unique. It's a combination of the experiences I've had and who I am that makes me and every single person in this world unique. Everyone has their own story. You have to get to know them to figure it out. 4. I like music, but I'm not too picky. I don't like hard rock, and I don't like rap usually either though. I like the popular pop music, country, alternative, classic rock, oldies, classical- so it really depends more on the song. Typically I like more up beat songs though.
