Just looking for someone to start a solid friendship with and if there's a connection then possibly something more? I know what I want in life and I finally feel like I have direction. I'd like to find someone who feels the same way. I'm done with games and drama so if that's your idea of a relationship (friendship/dating) then count me out! I'm constantly on a mission to learn something new every day, so bonus points if you can teach me one of your hobbies that i've never done before :) Ideally I'd like to find someone who lives the country lifestyle, I grew up in the city and those types of guys never really did it for me. I'm very fair in relationships, and I'll give you love and respect if you do the same. Sometimes I give more of myself than I should but that's just the way I am. Feel free to send me a message and we'll see where it goes :) That's for you to plan :)

Got back in November from traveling for ***months in Asia, so needless to say, travel is a pretty big part of my life! Graduated this past April from UofA with a degree in Sociology/Political Science. Currently I'm working to save money to jet off and travel/work abroad. I love meeting people from around the world and try to keep my appetite for travel fed by volunteering teaching English and (before I left to go traveling) working in a Backpacker's hostel. I go out every now and then but I'm no "bar star" anymore - it's not cheap!!! It's a phase everyone goes through I guess haha. I read quite a bit and my Christmas gift this year was a Kindle, and I love it. Just finished reading a collection of a series of interviews with Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi. I would really like to visit Burma, so it is interesting to hear her views on the current situation there. I also keep up with current events, as I am a Political Science minor, and enjoy reading about politics and what's going on in the world in general.Another hobby of mine is cooking. I'm not saying I'm great at it, but I don't think I totally suck at it. I like coming home and cooking (most nights, except when I'm really wiped!), it helps the whole transition from "work to real life" thing. And I'm in a much better mood if I eat something that wasn't originally from the freezer section (although those pizzas are nice every now and then.....starting to get into the Sheepdogs, it was a natural leap as I enjoy 60s/70s hits as well and I think they have that good old school rock flavour. I like some R&B and popular country every now and then too.My goals in life definitely include a lot more travel plans, including working overseas. I'm not a "straight line" career/life path type person. I have lots of ideas and direction, but I try not to limit myself to thinking "school/career/house/family" Now that I've started out in the work world I see it a lot and don't see it as something I would enjoy...I'd always be thinking "What if I had done..." For first dates I like to just get to know a guy, coffee is always good. I like it when a guy tries to be original though!

I am shy when i first meet people I come around after a few minutes. I am gone a lot so I am not looking for someone I can trust. Just hang out. Have some beers and dinner or something. Nothing spectacular. Just get to know each other. I want someone I can spoil once and a while and enjoy spending time with and without friends around. My work and family come first before anything. But i do like to have fun on my spare time/days off. I love camping , quadding, biking, pretty much anything outdoors, as long as i dont have to touch a fish i am happy. Then there is always the pleasure of staying home and relaxing.
