I was in a twelve year relationship and have been single for over a year. I just want to say that being single isn't bad but dating really sucks...I tried to come up with a classier way to say that but that word just works the best. I had forgotten what it's like to be "out there" not sure if your supposed to call them or let them call you...or how long should you wait before you meet them...or what do you do if your in the middle of a date, having dinner at their house and they go in the bathroom and come out completely naked (I was fully clothed by the way). A little about me physically: I'm TALL....I'm 5'9 without shoes! All my pictures are within the past 2 years and accurately represent me. I don't understand why women OR men put up old, deceiving pictures especially if they plan on meeting the other person. I enjoy traveling and do so often, whether it is other countries or weekend trips. I love good food and drinks (wine, beer, martinis, mixed drinks) I am not picky …..and that did NOT come out right. I just made myself sound like a drunk ;) What I MEANT to say is that I'm open minded and like to try different things. I don't like camping,four- I mean, my idea of camping is staying at a hotel that doesn't have a pool! I am mature enough to know that you guys like to have your time with the boys doing those guy things and that is great. I don't have to "like" everything you like to do but if your wanting your partner/girlfriend to do those things with you then I'm not your girl. On the other hand, if you don't like musicals or sappy chick flicks I won't make you go with me. I try to compromise ;)Good things about me:*I'm a good friend*I am a good girlfriend/partner. I don't lie, cheat, etc. This hasn't gotten me very far but I do believe in treating people how you want to be treated. I do believe in Kharma!*I'm smart but be prepared for occasional blonde moments*I like to joke around and have no problem laughing at myself ...or you...whoever deserves it.*I don't lie unless one of my friends ask me if their ex's new girlfriend is prettier then them.*I'm open to new experiences, life is short and I want to enjoy it.Bad things about me:*I tend to say exactly what I think*I have no problem leaving dishes in the sink overnight.*I have a thing about piles...no, I'm not a hoarder.*I don't like manual labor .....although I usually like the finished product if I do have to "work" (ex. yard work, house work, wash car, etc). It has been brought to my attention that I should state right up front that I am a city person only interested in ";. Ok? Ok.So, It's summer and I'm having a blast with my friends, except that something is missing. Hmmmm. . . What could that be? Well, its not my keys . . .got my wallet. . . .and my phone. Hmmmm. . . well, maybe it's you! If it is you, then you must be a really fun guy, who likes to laugh and make others laugh too. You would be intelligent with a mix of booksmart and common sense (you'd be surprised) You are a good looking physically fit guy, but not a gym rat. If you were at the gym 2 or 3 hrs a day, how would you have time for me? You wouldn't lie about having an athletic build. I'm not expecting a perfect physique, as I'm not perfect either, but be honest please. If you are that guy, you would be a "city" you would love doing all kinds of activities, outdoors and in. You're not afraid to plan a date. You don't say things like "I donno, whatever you want to do is fine with me." Ughhh! You have your own ideas and perspective on things, like to debate issues if you have cause & you'd like sushi or at least be willing to try it.So about me, aside from the general statistics. I am a Clinical Massage Therapist, but don't get excited. I don't like to mix work & personal stuff. So, no free massages. Think of it this way. . . Imagine you were a brick layer, laying bricks all day, then you get home exhausted, and your GF asks you to build a fireplace. Get it? I love to laugh and enjoy dancing. Hope you like Scrabble. ;-) I enjoy deep philosophical discussions and light hearted banter. I play volleyball, although not very well, but still, I play. I like going to festivals, but I also like to dress up in my heels for a night on the town. Always riding my bike along the lakefront in the sumer. and open to whatever events come up. I can be spontaneous at times. My friends consider me intelligent, attractive, funny and a bit outspoken. However, I've found that a "coffee date" feels more like an interview. A date should never feel like an interview, should it? Meeting at a coffee shop is fine, but then going on a date after meeting is much more enjoyable to me.
