Hmmmm...what can I say here ~ I grew up down state just outside of the city, so I guess youd say Im a city girl adjusted to country life. I do love the out doors,but country living is not for me or is Winter. I love the gym and being active, but I would be considered a BBW.I work, also I am a full time student working on my RN degree and a single mommy of a 9 yr.old .n two "grown up" kids .My youngest is with me part time and she is my lil pumpkin. Believe it or not I manage it all very well. With that being said ~ I am not looking for perfection, but quiet subtle confidence is so much sexier to me. I also realize we are ALL not perfect, especially not myself there is lots of room for improvement but I am motivated and thats half the battle. Im a total positive mind over matter thinker. Please, also, be able to stand on your own two feet. If you are a parent even better, being in most cases you will understand priorities and responsibility. One of my long term goals is to relocate down south to some place warm and wonderful, when the time is right. I am very goal orientated. I enjoy structure and planning so if you are a wild one who lives by the seat of your pants loves the bar scene or getting hammered, partying and anything always goes, sorry we in the long run would not be a good match. I am looking for someone to spend time with and get to know on my down time. I do have time for family work responsibilities and personal adult time,too I think all things start with friendship, even at the intimate level. I love life. Ive been through enough in my time that I can appreciate the finer moments in life to "stop and smell the roses", if you get my drift. Laugh Often Love deeply & Live life to the fullest. I prefer life to be simple, in other words, not too much drama. I am looking to start off as friends - go with the flow, get some substance going... but my head space going into this is " the intention of moving in the direction of a strong, loving, respectful, intimate, and long lasting relationship". I enjoy what's around me; family, friends, food, nature, music... all the good stuff. I make a concerted effort to not take things for granted. I like to be adventurous, to explore new places, and try new things. I'm passionate, down to earth, genuine, smart, and worldly. I'm confident in my skin, my "me space" is in the garden, or just doing something for me. When I retire I will do it at a cottage sitting by the waters edge, where I can get up in the morning, go for a swim, a kayak/canoe, a hike... something outdoorsy.. and then be able to have a glass of red on the deck in the evening, underneath the stars. I'm told from those that know me, that I'm kind/compassionate, down to earth, open minded, patient, non judgemental, easy to talk to, funny/sarcastic, and have a strong work ethic.My daughter is the biggest reason I smile everyday! I'd like to meet someone that gives me another reason to smile.***of the reasons I value Andy Rooney's opinion, or at least his "no candy coating" shared thoughts on valuable information.... A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. I am a people person. I love to see the best in everyone although am very perceptive and insiteful. I love pleasing people and making people happy when I am able to do so. I absolutely love my daughter and working on helping her be the best she can be. I love to learn new things and have new experiences. I am not materialistic. I love a challenge and work the best when underpressure. I believe that a person should always strive to grow in someway. I believe that things come into our lives for a reason whether that would be experiences of people. I think relationships of any sort take work and the best relationships are ones built around honesty and being able to have the freedom to be exactly who you are. I have a bucket list of things that I would like to do and love to have someone to do them with. I have had a lot of time to learn from mistakes as well as discover who I am and what I need. I have a strong personality but yet will put others before myself in a heart beat. Sometimes that is to my disadvantage when its hard for me to vocalize my wants or needs. I first and foremost would like to find a best friend and go from there. I need a man who is kind and caring but not a push over. For the first date I would like to go wine tasting or even just a cup of coffee or drink. I would like it to be low key and relaxed. Cooking a dinner together would be fun as well. I would like to be able to talk and interact with no pressure. An amount of time to see if there is any interest or chemistry for more.
