About Me

I am a divorced professional. I am looking to meet someone who is serious about a relationship. I have two grown children and three grand children. I am looking for someone who has time to spend with me. I work a lot of hours during the year but I will make plenty of time for the right man. I am looking for a man who can be my best friend and partner. I want a man that I feel relaxed and comfortable with and free to be myself. Things I like: Dunkin donoughts coffee , day trips, a great glass of wine, Simple things like: taking a walk, having a picnic, paddling in a canoe are just a few. Birthdays, parties, getting dressed up, dressing down, yard work, dancing, singing ( even though you might not want me too) lol, beaches, moonlit walks, smell of the ocean, a great smile, uncontrollable laughter. A well dressed man, a well shaven man. Nice teeth, good conversationalist, a generous man, romance, movies, traveling , working hard, Helping the less fortunate, teaching, learning and even sports if someone is willing to teach me. Things I don't like: a big gut on a man, disrespect, sexual pics when you don't even know me, being ***, broken promises, being stood up! ( That's just the worst)!!!! lying , cheating, stealing, rude people, people who don't talk or don't know how to communicate. People who say they want to date but never have time. People who join a dating site and then treat it like a sex site!!!!!! I like a first meeting to be just that. We meet for coffee or a drink to see if we hit it off. If we do then we go from there. I don't think anyone wants to feel pressured. Lets get real people, you see the pic and now you need to see the person up front. If we still like what we see and hear than we will proceed. Otherwise, good luck and lets both move on. No hard feelings.

    This is definitely the hardest part of this process because speaking about myself does not come easy. I am looking to find someone to share my time and thoughts and dreams with so I guess that boils down to YES, I am looking for a long-term relationship. I have tried this process in the past with no success so I guess I am either a glutton for punishment or an eternal optimist. I am often described by people who know me well as having a sweet personality, giving, trustworthy, dry sense of humour, patient, and able to empathize almost to a fault. I am guilty of always putting others before myself. I have two teenagers but only one is at home so that leave me time to come and go. I am ready to give my love to that special man and receive it back. The man I seek also has to be trustworthy, honest and someone who is interested in spending time with me as I am with him. I eat healthy and go to the gym 3 times a week and feel that the female body (this female body) is a constant work in progress. I do have curves and hope they are all in the right places. :) I did have knee surgery last year so I am not running marathons or rollerblading but I do try to stay as active as possible. I am a true romantic at heart. I love to cuddle on the couch with a glass of wine in the evenings after a long day at work. Occasional dinners out are great but I prefer to stay in and cook and enjoy good company to watch tv or a movie. My favourite season is summer.....LOVE the hotter weather, sitting on the back patio with friends and a few drinks. I do love to venture out, people watch or strike up a conversation with new people, going down to the waterfront to enjoy what city has to offer or take in a concert of a new band. Although I haven't been able to travel much the past few years, I do love to visit new places or have a weekend getaway when time allows. I guess my music choices would be pretty standard.....Top 40's, Latin, Classical, R & B.I do ask that if you are interested in chatting to please have a picture. I have mine up and it's only fair.
