About Me

Hi, I''m a very Happy, Energetic Southern Gal....definitely a 20 yr. old spirit trapped inside a 47 yr. old body! "Young at Heart"....with Old-Fashioned principals & I Love the Lord with all my Heart!I am spontaneous & live life in the moment but I am smart enough to plan & see down the road...I just choose to only think about what is in front of me. I can rest each day knowing that God will take care of me.Here are some things that I love in no particular order: The Ocean, Belly Dancing, Fishing, Cuddling, going to sporting events, Music, Bowling, The Feel of Sand Between my Toes, Candle Lights, Digging in the Dirt (My Garden), Sushi, Standing on Top of a Mountain, Photography, Singing, Listening to the Rain, Cooking, Action/Thriller Movies &I am very Happy with my life and would like to possibly meet someone who is Stable, Interesting and Accomplished with a Sense of Humor who is also looking for someone like me.I am Creative & love to have Fun...just like a kid at times. I believe in Giving & Receiving time Apart...Example: "Man Cave" & "Me Time". I think this makes for a more Balanced relationship. I would love to talk over the phone first and exchange information. I do not care to meet at a coffee shop. I *** to go out on a real date. This way the both of us will get to go out and have a nice time...even if we end up never seeing each other again we can say that we did something other than drink coffee together. Some examples of nice first dates for me would be to go to a Sporting Event, Music Concert, Eat Downtown and walk around afterwards and look at the city lights at night...I just LOVE City Lights! If it is a day date, I have always wanted to take a Hot Air Balloon ride..Hint Hint to a man who is capable of making this happen! lolI am very Spontaneous and I love Surprises and I basically have fun no matter where I am. So, suggestions are welcome! Thanks for reading my profile!

I'm just a country gir! Don't want a city slicker that dosen't know what noodling for catfish is! I love to hang out with friends an have a good ole Bon fire an a few drinks. I have been asked a million times what do I want in a man? I can tell you plenty what I don't want! I haven't met the one that has been able to tame this girl yet! I'm looking for a good man that is ready to settle down an have a lasting relationship. I have been told that I'm beautiful! I know I am! That is why I won't settle for less than what I want in life! I'm a confident person. I am very independent an happy with my life! It just keeps getting better as I get older. I want to meet the one that will share that happiness in life with me! Please don't Send me a mesage that is just wanting a fling because, I'm more than wine an dine this country girl! So if this appeals to you send me a message an we will see how it goes. We will decide on that!

So I'm trying meetville - was an OKC user for about 18 months and met a couple of interesting people, but not my lifelong soulmate - so I am hopeful he's around here somewhere. Hopefully you! I can come across as a little intimidating sometimes. I'm bright, confident, a take-charge sort. But once I know I can count on someone, I'm able to let my guard down and soften up a bit. I'm one of the most genuine people you will ever meet, sort of an unusual combination of practical, fun, lighthearted, serious ... and I keep a lot of balls in the air at one time. So here’s some things about me … I am introspective, compassionate, a deep thinker with a wicked sense of humor. Politically, I lean left on social issues. I believe that a society is only as strong as its weakest member, and I believe that those of us who are more fortunate have a responsibility to those who have less. Certainly there is some abuse of the system, but I think that outside the truly antisocial among us, people truly want to be productive, happy, and successful. Not everyone is lucky enough to be born into that sort of happenstance. I love kids, though I am no longer actively raising any, and they tend to like me too. I have one small dog, quiet and generally well-behaved but somewhat high maintenance (Chihuahua). Musically, I tend to gravitate more toward the obscure. Listened to new wave in the eighties, alt rock in the nineties, and these days I like 91.7 quite a bit. That said, I am really open to all music and am a fan of most of it.) love live theater, symphony, indie artist small show or an outdoor one. If I do see a movie, my taste goes more toward indie/foreign as opposed to blockbuster. Food – I am on a bit of an Indian kick these days. I also love sushi and most other ethnic foods. Small and independently run restaurants get my vote any day over chains, fast food, or big box options. I try to make vegetarian choices – both for health reasons and because of the ecological impact of meat production, as well as the cruelty rampant in the industry. I am also ever more concerned about corporate profiteering and the shortcuts taken by the food industry – corporate greed at the top and misplaced emphasis on responsibility to shareholders is putting our collective health at risk in ways we can't begin to imagine. On the subject of food, it seems there's a number of really big guys on here who haven't quite figured out yet the connection between diet and lifestyle and health...so I’m going to be honest. I like big guys! Tall, a little overweight, that's fine with me. That said, I work daily on making healthy food decisions and on exercising “on-the-go” – taking the stairs, walking everywhere I can, bicycling, foot scooter, lol, even some skating. It’s a process. I understand that decisions today affect health later, and I try to act accordingly. If you aren't there yet, I don't think we'll be a good fit. Because of the work I do I know what happens in our fifties and sixties if we let ourselves completely go in our thirties and forties ... so I fight it tooth and nail :-). Another thing about me – my schedule is unusual. I will be able to tweak it some to sustain the right relationship, but right now my work requires some evening and even overnight hours. I love the work I do and the feeling I have when I know I made a difference in someone’s life. Contributing to the world in the way I do is important to me, and I want to continue it in some capacity for a while yet. Here are some things I’m hoping to find in a partner. I guess this is somewhat a wish list. interested in education and a lifelong learner – these are pretty important. Tolerant of and kind to small animals and children. In terms of personality, someone who is more open to reflection than concrete knowledge of how things are, approach life’s problems and solutions with an active and open mind toward improvement and tend to see the glass as more full than empty. Hopefully you’re not overly egotistical. I prefer a guy who is able to take charge and problem solve and help me stay focused – I am somewhat an idealist and can be off in a lot of different directions sometimes! Someone who can both tolerate that and help redirect me when needed would be awesome. With any luck, I'm not asking the impossible, but I know I'm asking a lot! Do you enjoy bicycling, walking/hiking, talking, holding hands, travel and adventure, camping, swimming in lakes... if it seems like we'll have fun together, we can figure it out from there. if you live in the burbs, I'm happy to meet you closer to your part of town. DFW has so much to discover.
