i've been on and off this site over the years without much luck but i'm still hopeful. i think online dating is a great venue to meet people. being single, never married without kids at 46 makes dating a challenge. i don't know many single people and my married friends hang out with other married friends! so ***meetville it is.i would describe myself as an easy going tomboy. i enjoy all thing athletic. i work out daily and enjoy staying in shape. granted, my shape is much different now then it was in my 20's & 30's! i try to eat healthy but i do enjoy life. i love to read. i'm a movie junkie. i knit ***i know, total dork but it's very relaxing. i've been lucky to have done a lot of traveling in my early years but there is always more to see. i enjoy my morning coffee over a crossword puzzle. i have a dog and a cat that are a big part of my life. you must love animals. my animals run the house and sleep with me. i sweep my white tile floor 3 times a day but i will never get rid of all the dog hair on my floors, on my clothes, on my bedding ***basically on every surface!friends and family are important to me. words to describe me would be intelligent, funny, kind, generous, loyal, committed and a bit of an extrovert. i enjoy people and can talk to just about anyone. i've found that too often things can move too quickly and then fall apart. i like the idea of taking things slow and getting to know each other. i think being friends first makes a relationship last. good communication is the most important element. a great sense of humor would be nice. too many people get hung up on physical appearance when finding someone who understand you and accepts you is much more important. looks fade ***who you are as a person is what's real.if any of this sounds interesting to you, i'd love to hear from you. happy fishing! i think a first date happens after you meet for the first time. the first meet and greet needs to be casual and in a public place. you want to make sure there's enough interest to have a 'real' first date.
