I really should update this whole section...because we've now been here for 6 years and the kids are growing up...so.. The children are wonderful and I love them dearly. I have my own little troop( they're not so little anymore!-4 children( the oldest 2 are now at college -both at UF!)so technically 2 are home....WAIT! before you run read the rest I'm not looking for a father for them. They are terrific kids and They have an involved father, but I would love to find my man who loves me and enjoys them too:) I think its only fair to let you know up front- I don't want to mislead anyone and I know that some are not interested in kids. They are an important part of my life! BUT It would be great to know that my man was there, by my side cooking dinner with me, or hanging at the pool with me- I love the beach, long walks in the calmness of the evening and snuggling on the couch with a good movie. I'm looking for that special someone to share the special times and the day to day times-I'm looking for someone to share my every secret with, who will also share theirs with me. I enjoy adventures and exploring. I enjoy sailing, hiking, camping, gardening- most anything outdoors. I'm an active person-keeping myself on the go.As far as my home goes, I like a clean home filled with soft warm colors that makes everyone feel welcome. I , myself, often dress casually, but nice. I enjoy barefeet- some friends find this funny, but being from the north we charish the short lived summer warmth - coffee, lunch, a walk at the park....a chance to talk and get to know each other better.

I absolutely hate this whole on line dating thing but where else can a person in this day and age find someone to have a relationship? I am not looking for marriage right away but for a relationship that could possibly eventually lead somewhere. I am tired of being alone, how about you?I have been single for a long time so in a lot of ways I am used to it BUT it would be nice to have a special someone. I am self sufficient financially, emotionally and physically. I don't "Need" a man, but would like to find someone in which to spend my free time. One that shows it through their actions *** you are overly religious you are not for me.I am NOT into the whole party scene. I enjoy spending time working around the house or relaxing. I work hard so that I can relax. I like going on adventures, watching movies at home or at the movie theater. Cooking & Baking are also fun.A lot of guys say they do not want drama or games, neither do I. I absolutely do not like drama or games, I don't participate so if you are looking for a player, I am not for you. Honesty is very important and so are trust, if you have trouble with these, please pass me by. Finally any addiction issues, well not interested in those either.The achievements that I am most proud of are my two wonderful kids, and earning my college degree while working full time, wife/mother. It was a lot of hard work but once again worth it.The best first dates are a quiet restaurant in which to really visit and get to know each other. Best date I ever had was a boat ride in the middle of the lake, we just sat, talked & enjoyed the night sky & quiet.Love to hear from you.p. s. please be sure you have a picture, I am not comfortable responding to anyone that doesn't have a picture. On a "first date" I would do like to do something casual such as going to a quiet restaurant or Star Bucks. I think the first date or two should be time invested in really getting to know if it is even worth putting in more time and effort.

I enjoy movies and scary ones at that, bowling, walks, dining out, cuddling on the couch, holding hands in public, walking downtown, visiting small villages or country towns. I am somewhat of a thrill seeker. I jumped out of a plane a few years ago and would love to do it again although I would never bungee jump. If your looking for a for a "Barbie Type" girl, then keep on fishing. I'm not two ton tessy but have put on a few extra pounds but am working on getting healthier.I've been told that I have really nice eyes, great personality and fun to be with. Right now, I take one day at a time and see where it leads me. I was fortunate enough to find love once and would like to find it again. There is nothing better than sharing your life with somone else.My favorite music is 50's and 60's. I enjoy quite evenings at home but also like to go out. I am kind, compassionate, willing to do anything for the one I care about. I have 2 beautiful girls, who are first and foremost my priority. I love them to death and would do anything for them.
