And that something completely different is plunging into the world of plenty of fish. The fish outside all seem to be taken, so here goes...I am a young appearing 50 year old, or so I've been told. I'm happy, healthy, fit, funny, and fun to be with. I like being outside and active -- running and walking with my dog, working in the yard, swimming. I work out ***times a week, either going to the gym or running outside. I love watching live music, especially in small venues. I'm an avid reader, mostly of non-fiction, and love a challenging crossword. It's rare that I turn down an invitation to the movies - nothing like seeing them on the big screen. One of my favorite places to go is Fenway Park, for its ambience, history, and, of course, the baseball. I love Italian sausages with onions and peppers from Yawkee Way, but it's also be home with family or friends, a home cooked meal, and a glass of wine or beer.I am quiet and shy in new environments and with new people, but once I am comfortable, I am outgoing, talkative, funny. I am kind, generous, forgiving, and fair. Friends tell me I have a great sense of humor, am a lot of fun to be with, am in good physical shape and young at heart. I adore my two grown children (at least most of the time!), love traveling to and exploring new places, trying new things, spending time at home, and pretty much anything in between.I’d like to meet someone who is easy going and has a good sense of humor, someone who is intelligent and caring, someone who compliments and enhances me, someone who shares my love for traveling and experiencing new places and things.

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
I love animals...horses and dogs mostly. I love kids too but I'm partial to good kids (like my grandkids...lol). I feel better when I'm outside than I do when I'm in. I love nature and marvel at it constantly. I'm not glamorous or much for make-up or jewelry but I can dress up if the occasion calls for it. I work hard and not afraid to get dirty, break a sweat, or pee outside. I'm not a feminist by any means. I believe women have their own glory and it's not even in the same realm as a man's. I don't want a relationship that requires some outside stimulus ( like a vacation, a major purchase or another couple ) to be good . That stuff is just "fluff".Projects / Goals keep me driven and it's important to me to have at least one going....long-term, short-term or both. Accomplishing something...and doing it well....gives me a buzz. I make an effort every day to be a better person than I was the day before. I am straight up 99% of the time but try to never be mean, hurtful or insulting. I love to create things: woodworking is one passion; writing is another. I am independent but it doesn't mean I don't still believe in a strong partnership. I work full time and own a business that requires my attention some evenings and weekends but still find myself with too much free time. I don't sit still very much but I can watch a very good movie or TV show with minimum interruption. I enjoy working and playing outside. I love music and find that my appreciation for music has grown so much in the last 10 years. I use to play acoustic guitar but it's been years. I believe in God; Jesus is Lord and I pray every day. I haven't attended a regular church for years but can't deny that I need to.I still have dreams. Raising two sons has been my priority for 20 years but now they are grown and on their own... I intend to chase some dreams now. Maybe I'll tell you about them sometime. : ) Dinner or a picnic, a walk, fishing, or anything we can do that is somewhat "laid back". I like to be able to talk and get to know each other. Something like a football game or dancing would be great but I don't think we would get much chance to really find out about each other.
