My life is pretty good except for having that special someone to share life with. I'm looking for that person that I just feel completely comfortable with. It would be great to meet you if we enjoy some of the same interests but I also love to be exposed to new experiences. It is difficult to summarize who I am in a few words, but I will try. I'm a science teacher and an conservationist. I love to travel to state and national parks and visit natural history museums. I also spend a lot of time with my great group of work friends and my family. I'm a simple jeans and flip-flops kind of girl. I'm not into shopping, fake nails, jewels, or lots of make up. I have a few tattoos. I'm probably a little too shy when I meet new people but not at all once I know you. My friends would describe me as very easy going, extremely cool and calm under stress, and in general happy all the time. I love simple things like a quiet morning with really good coffee or a good book on the patio when the air is cool but the sun is shining on a clear day. I enjoy random stupid conversation with my friends around a campfire. I'm a hard worker and I enjoy learning new do-it-your-self skills. I love being outside all year except summer, that’s when I love my air-conditioning. I equally enjoy healthy food and bad food. I exercise every day but I'm not fanatical about it. I am not at all spiritual or religious unless you count my awe of nature. I believe in science. I have always been a bit of a scifi nerd. I really enjoy the water, snorkeling and scalloping but I have been known to get seasick on choppy water. I am a bit of a beer snob, give me an IPA...never a light beer. I am not perfect and I am in general happy with myself but always trying to be a better person. I am an open-minded person. I appreciate some assertiveness in a man who will contact me first and ask to meet. I am not interested in an online chatting relationship. Not necessarily worth anything, but beautiful all the same. I like classic rock music, some country, some gospel. But rap music can seriously put me in a bad mood. I've been listening to "Daughtry" a lot lately. I like movies with heart. And I like to watch them with someone who has a heart. Also love horror, comedy and action. I just forced my best friend to see "The Conjuring" with me. I will never sleep with my feet uncovered again! I read a lot....everything from romance to horror.What I'm looking for? I'm not sure I know. But I'll know when I find it. Someone who knows the meaning of loyalty and responsibility. Someone who can have fun, laugh...even at himself, doesn't expect too much too soon, and can give as much as he receives.
