I am the "girl next door". Love to have fun, adventure and LMAO. Not a couch potato by any means. Work hard, play harder. Most always happy and up-beat, don't sweat the small stuff.-yos. I have the best kids in the world ....... no seriously I do. They are an absolute blessing. All teenagers, so they are also pretty busy with their own social lives. I am very active , work-out ***days a week to stay in shape and am attracted to men that do the same. Not shallow but " it is what it is". Let's face it, if you're not taking care of yourself when you are single, you're sure as heck not going to when you're in a relationship. I have a wide range of interests, dancing, riding, hiking, swimming, playing pool, 4-wheelers(love it) , shooting......etc, pretty much anything social. I can be a "girly-girl" when I want to, but prefer jeans... I can relax too, snuggling on the couch watching a movie or hang-out with friends around a fire. Faith is very important to my family. We attend an awesome church regularly.

MOTORCYCLES SCARE THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SHARE THAT PART OF YOUR LIFE WITH, IT'S NOT ME. IF YOU ARE OK WITH JUST HANGING OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS TO GO RIDING, WE'RE GOLDEN. ALSO, DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO CATS. - I realize this a long profile so I figured I'd just put that up front. I don't know if Animal Lover is the best word to describe myself but my options were limited. I am silly, cynical, sarcastic and affectionate. I'm also a REALLY bad speller and I never make my date dance at formal occasions. I'm also really go at making my bed but I rarely do.I'm happy with myself and my life, but I'd like to have someone to share it with. I own a golden retriever trapped in the body of a chihuahua. She actually looks like someone Photo-shopped the head of a Chihuahua to the body of a pug. All of my dogs have been rescues, but she takes the cake as far as looks. Apparently I'm a tiny little person (5'2") but growing up I was the tallest one in the family. We didn't count Dad since he's a boy. I'd go over to my Mom's house and she'd ask me to reach for stuff. I thought I was really tall until high school.I'm a very laid back, low maintenance kind of girl. Given a choice between a trendy club or a dive bar, I'll take the dive bar every time. I like to go places with character; they usually have better music. I avoid shopping and malls as much as possible. If I need clothes I have to have my friends or sister come with my other wise I'd just wear black shirts and black pants all the time. They really need to start making Garanimals for adults. I can match up animals like you wouldn't believe. Bookstores are the exception to this rule although there aren't too many left. I like antique stores because I'm always on the look out for old medication bottles or advertisements. I'm not particularly girly, but I clean up pretty well and I love a good manicure. I have a silly/sarcastic sense of humor.I'm divorced with no kids, but I do have a 11 year old niece and 2 nephews ages 9 and 10.I'm also a REALLY bad speller and I never make my date dance at formal occasions.I Listen to Wait Wait, This American Life, The Moth and Radio Lab podcasts. I'm not ashamed to say that I get my news from The Daily Show and Fark.com (and occasionally the Onion. I have my recumbent bike in front of the TiVo so if I want to watch anything, I've got to be riding my bike. I also like to multitask while I ride. I TiVo Judge Judy (don't judge me, she's the only one who calls it like it is) and some time knit or play solitaire on my phone while I ride.I am a big animal person. We got to second semester surgery and I was afraid my sneezing would kill a cat. At that time there was only one school in the state and it was really hard to get into. I knew I was allergic to cats, but I got in and I didn't want to say I never tried. I ended up changing my major to Business Management and then came home and got my Bachelor's from North Park because they had a program for working adults. I'm kind of all over the board.Book-I loved (I'm currently on medical leave, nothing contagious, but recovering) being a pharmacy tech. Sometimes the public makes me weep for the future of humanity, but generally they are literate and I have a great time with them. They know I care and will go above and beyond for them to get them what they need; corporate be damned. I love the crabby ones, unless they're really sick, and then kill them with kindness and they love me forever.I feel that what ever job I do in this world, I want it to have an impact. When I leave work, I like knowing that I've spent 8 hours helping people who truly needed it. I was trained on the job, but these days they are a ton of schools where you can take classes to become a pharmacy tech. I am planning on calling some of these schools and explaining they need to have a class on interacting with the patients and I am the perfect person to teach that class.I don't remember anyplace where I received more flowers and gifts for just doing my job. It was the critically acclaimed Co-Ed Prison Sluts. I had no idea at the time, but the guy who co-wrote it is extremely famous in the world of Improve. I didn't meet him for months when we started because he was directing the 50th Anniversary Show at Second City. It was so much fun and I meet some amazing people. I find sarcasm and a very dry sense of humor VERY appealing. I prefer men who shower daily and don't live in their parent's basement. Teeth and book learnin' are a plus.I'm not a foodie but I prefer not to eat junk food and take out on a regular basis. I like to talk to the person on the phone first. I think you get a better feel for them, then you do in *** that goes well I think meeting for drinks with the rest of the evening open, is a great first date. That way you have some time to get to know the person over drinks (alcohol or otherwise) and if things are really going well, go to dinner and see what happens.Or meeting for coffee. Very casual.I think sometimes thing can get awkward. If the person I'm with is supposed to take me to dinner and we really don't hit it off, I don't want him to feel uncomfortable spending the next hour or 2 trying to figure a way out of this. I guess what I'm saying is, you never know and I don't want to force anyone or myself to spend time with someone they don't really like.
