UPDATE: Yes, I'm a blonde. I have had it colored brown before (and I think it is one of the pics) but I'm blonde now. Does anybody really care about haircolor anyhow? I was a redhead once too. . . had a really feiry temper during my redhead days. Had to get rid of it. lol A little bit about who I am, and who you are: 1) Some of my best friends are shy at first. And, they're the most genuine type of people. I don't care if you're cool - but, kindness is a must! Being kind doesn't mean you're weak. It takes great courage to be kind. I don't like mean, inconsiderate or self-centered people. I love doing nice things for someone else. It makes you feel a lot better than buying something for yourself. 2.) Also, I'm a big animal lover. So a guy I date really has to love animals too. All my pets are rescues. 3.) I'm very health conscious. Some people would say I'm a nut about it. But, I think that we should never take our health for granted. I work out most days, and I eat healthy (most of the time!). This is important to me. I just can't date a smoker. Sorry! I can't date someone who doesn't make their health a priority. 4.) I know a lot of people (men and women) use meetville for hooking up. Not my thing. So if that's what you're interested in, it'll be a waste of your time and mine. I have much higher values and priorities than coordinating cheap sex with online strangers. You should too. We all should. 5.) I have a history of long-term healthy relationships. You know, where you're still good friends and like your -ex, even after you part. I'm only interested in healthy relationships. 6.) I'm not a superficial person. I have a great sense of humor and can be goofy and fun, but my emotions and thoughts run deep.7.) Did I mention, I have a great sense of humor!8.) I'm an easy-going person. I'm middle-of-the-road on a lot of things - politics, religion. I'm just not far out there on the fringe in much - except maybe that my dogs should have rights! To begin with, I enjoy doing a lot of different things... Not opposed to trying new things either. My desire is to find someone I enjoy spending time with when the opportunity presents itself without smothering each other too much. Hopefully over time, it will be what we're looking for, and then again, maybe not. But hopefully we've made a new friend if it doesn't! I don't really have any set plan in mind. Depends on my mood as to what I listen to. A new addition to my life is working with a personal trainer to get into shape! I am really enjoying it, and am improving daily! I like the push! :-)NOTE: If you converse with someone on here that you are interested in and even take that first step to go out, wouldn't you want to concentrate on that one person for a few weeks to see if there is anything there before you cast your line again? Be nice if you're interested and don't ruin it by continuing to fish while getting to know someone. Geez .... It just makes you look uninterested. The site says to answer the question "Why am I unique?" Talk to me, and you decide! ;) A good first date starts with a man who treats me like a lady. Dinner and/or drinks would be nice to get to know each other to see if there's a true interest or a casual cup of coffee would be fine as well. As far as a first date, I'm not too terribly hard to please because like I've already said, I'm open to a lot of different things and not just the standard date!. Surprise me!! Good company and good conversation with whatever we choose to do all make for a good first date. But you have to smell really good too! I love that!
