Welcome to my new and improved profile. I am revamping because I sounded sarcastic and jaded... This is my effort to make myself sound more appealing to the men I may actually want to meet.First and foremost, I'm a mom. I have two teenagers who are my entire life. If you are also a parent, you get that. But that's not to say I don't have time for someone else in my life. Aren't we all here to meet someone to spend time with?Second, I work. It's a necessary evil. Even though I listed my profession as "banking" I do work some untraditional hours. If you are the type of person who likes to spend a lot of times in bars drinking then I am not the person for you. I love children...and I've never met a child that did not like me. I am not a big dater. I have friends who have tried the on-line dating scene and have gone on hundreds of bad or mediocre dates. I am not unhappy with my current status..so I am not desperately seeking someone. If I meet someone great-and it leads to a friendship I am happy, if it leads to more than that is a bonus. Something that is more optimistic than a cup of coffee or a quick drink. I understand that it does not make sense to spend a lot of money and or time with someone that you may not be interested in dating...but I would rather go on fewer dates and make sure I like the person before I meet them.
