New to POF! Had never heard of this site until this evening when a conversation with another mother (after school *** my seven yr old son's Bitty Basketball game) revealed to me that she met her boyfriend of the past eight months on here! I have recently returned to the workforce, & am thrilled to show my children what my mother bestowed upon me... a role model of a strong, multi-faceted, & capable woman outside of the home, as well as in. I have re-discovered my love of travel over these past few years, as the visitation schedule has allowed me to venture off on long wknds to varied destinations that I hadn't seen for quite some time, as well as to some unchartered waters as well. I have spent time recently in locales such as St... The list makes me smile, as this has truly been one of the highpoints of the "; when I lost the ability to spend every day with my children due to our separation & divorce. I am now super comfortable with allowing my time away from them to be a re-charging for me, & an opportunity to discover the world again from a new perspective! I've learned to ski over the past couple of years, which is a sport that I always wanted to participate in, but never had the opportunity to take advantage of until now. I introduced my children to it as well, & we've had a blast with our new found excitement on the slopes! They have become the best travel companions on our escapes together & we've just booked our next vacay to Turks & Caicos for their Spring Break in March! Hang up the skis, it's time to SUP... another of our fave activities! :)So, what type of man would I consider dating? Who would I think to be an awesome guy to hang with? Here's what I find attractive beyond the exterior attributes...Show signs of intelligence, make me laugh, be a lover of children, have a passion for what you do, & do it well, be a man of the world, not just your couch... I believe therein those traits may lie a jumping off point for us. Photos alone, do not a person make, or increase the likelihood of a respectable match on here. They just show the outer shell, but nothing more. I am not here to date a photo of a handsome man, & I would hope you would feel the same. I want to meet someone and be able to feel that exciting *** I want to get butterflies when we hold hands, and melt when we kiss.I want to go to a restaurant and flirt the whole time, have a nice bottle of wine together and feel as if I can't wait to leave the restaurant after, so we can be alone and focus on just each other. Sorry sunglasses men.My older brother put this on ***, and I thought it was so funny I laughed so hard I cried! hope you think it's funny too...Once again this year, I’ve had requests for my Vodka Christmas Cake recipe so here goes.Please keep in your files as I am beginning to get tired of typing this up every year! (Made mine this morning!!!!)You will need :-1 cup sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 cup water, 1 tsp salt , 1 cup brown sugar, Lemon juice, 4 large eggs, Nuts, 1 bottle Vodka,2 cups dried fruit....Sample a cup of Vodka to check the quality. Take a large bowl, check the Vodka again to be sure it is of the highest quality then Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point, it is best to make sure the Vodka is still OK. Try another cup just in case. Turn off the mixer thingy. Break 2 eggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the fruit up off the floor you just put there, wash it and put it in the bowl a piece at a time trying to count it. If the fried fruit gets stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a drewscriver Sample the Vodka to test for tonsisticity. Next, sift 2 cups of salt, or something. Check the Vodka. Now sh*tshift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin ***degrees and try not to fall over. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the Vodka and wipe the counter with the cat Nice dinner,some wine, conversation and flirting!You can IM me on the cell app ***

Are you ready for the great outdoors with a twist? Because not only do I practically live outdoors, but as a college science professor I can be your own personal nature tour guide. One of my favorite pastimes is hiking on the Billy Goat Trail looking for glimpses into the lives of the plants and animals there. To the bemusement of my friends and fellow hikers I have often danced with joy at the site of a slug munching a shelf fungus or an opportunity to learn more about the mating habits of cicadas.I am also a huge fan of swimming in the ocean eyes open looking for a cool jellyfish or perhaps a sting -Despite my scientific side, I can downright silly. Most summer evenings I can be found in the pool with a circle of my closest friends cutting up until we laugh so hard we’re getting water up our noses. (I think the lifeguards have finally come to realize we are not actually drowning.) I also love joking around and playing with my nephews, as it is a great excuse to continue climbing trees. (I was very tickled when my seven year old nephew recently asked me if I was a teenager!) I find any movie with Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell wildly funny.My guy is warm, affectionate, family oriented, and dog friendly. He loves the outdoors, traveling, and has a positive outlook on life.
