About Me

I am a SCUBA *** I recently earned my Master's degree in Marine Biology. I LOVE the ocean and am extremely passionate about its conservation. I enjoy sailing and walking on the beach and would love to find someone with whom I can share these types of activities. I have never been married as I have not yet met anyone I want to live with forever and would rather remain single than settle for someone who does not enhance my already very content life. I have lived in the islands in the past and would love to go back for good some day...soon, I hope,!!! I enjoy many types of music but primarily enjoy alternative 90's stuff and reggae. I am looking for someone who is active, who loves (and respects) the ocean, who is smart without being patronizing and confident without being arrogant. I am not against dating guys with kids but I don't have any so am definitely not the maternal type. I do, however, have little nieces and a nephew and I love teaching kids to dive! Since I still feel and act like I am 32, I don't want to hang around someone who is "old" and constantly lamenting about the effects of aging...such a turnoff...;) Hope this doesn't sound too harsh but I figured I might as well be honest! For a first meeting, I prefer something casual like drinks and conversation. I am not very good at being thrown into these somewhat awkward situations, so I would prefer to meet with the expectation of forming a friendship before feeling like I am on a "date". Oh and I don't drink coffee! (I like tea, though...)
