I love a funny man! NOT obnoxious, funny! I really like tattoos, I have a few very tasteful ones myself. Not big on drinkers or smokers, social drinking is fine but if you consider alcohol a major food group then please move on. A car door opening, flower giving, tender hearted man who is looking for someone to share things with is what I'm looking for. I'm not on here for a "casual hook-up" so if all you want is a bed partner then, again, move on.This may sound a little goofy but I absolutely LOVE stand-up comedy! When I can I try to catch a show at the Funny Bone. I figure life is way to serious sometimes, why not let your hair down, clear your mind and have a laugh or two. The theatre is a big thing with me also and I promise, if you like it too, I won't tell anyone - I know how men are about their "Man Cards" and saying you like the theatre could get yours revoked. I'm really up for just about anything - except skydiving and bungee jumping. I can't see jumping out of a perfectly good airplane or off a well built bridge for no reason at all - but I would definitely cheer you on! And then there are some nights that are just made for a movie at home though, with popcorn and a glass of wine (or beverage of your choice of course). I, personally, am a Moscato girl - it's sweet and goes great with popcorn! I'm not much of a drinker.I really hate drama. I've dealt with that and I'm over it completely. We all have baggage, at our age who doesn't, right? But some people just let their baggage weigh them down too too much. I'm not one of those and don't care to have that in my life. I am a mom to a teen-aged son, I am a loving daughter and sister, niece and aunt. I love my job, I love my dog and I love my friends. I used to be a wife...and I was damned good at it! I work, spend time with friends, cook, go to plays, movies, I read, I knit--even though I am a mediocre knitter. Currently renting since my ex-husband and I sold our house. I miss my kitchen as the one I have now is deplorable...no storage, no work space and an electric stove.I wish I had more time to travel but I have a wish list of places I would like to visit... We have beautiful beaches, mountains and historic sites here!Meeting new people, making new friends, seeing new places, learning new things are all interests. I like to read a book a week...). I don't have cable so the tv/movies I watch are "out of date" as I stream Netflix but I think the writing for the show "30 Rock" is brilliant and have enjoyed ";, "Nurse Jackie" and "The Sopranos". I love movies in general--perhaps I lack a certain sense of the critical element because when I go to the movies I am ready to be entertained and easily give into the suspension of disbelief. LOVE the scary movies! But I love the old classics, foreign films, quiet independents as well as the blockbusters. They each bring something to the table. And I am a loyal friend and dedicated hard-worker. I give family and friends 100%. I believe in creating community and family members are not just those that are related to you but evolve over time as well. Meet for coffee? Glass of wine? Grab a beer at a ball game? Go to the dog park?) Volunteering? I'm open to any of these things! What are your ideas?
