Besides writing an obituary, who really writes about themselves? I guess to try meetville I have to give it a shot. I'm initially quiet and I tend to "feel people out" before that feeling of comfort sets in. I have a steady job that can be stressful, at times, so I'm not looking to add to it on a date. Family and good friends are important to me. I like to listen to music both live and recorded ( country, rock, BPO ). I like to spend time by the water, outside playing sports, walking or just enjoying the day. I like to read....books that are passed along between family and friends. I find it relaxing. I like to dine out. It gives me an opportunity to try new things I might not cook at home. Besides, I like it when someone else does the cooking :). I will go to bars/clubs with family/friends to listen to local bands I like but I'm not a bar fly...I prefer wine over beer and I can always find that at home, lol. For the past 14 years I have been a teacher. Before that I was in the Army for 4 years.After teaching I'd like to start a photography business. Photography is one of my hobbies but I would like it to be more.I love all animals (except cochroaches) but horses in particular. If I were to win the lottery I would buy a ranch with several horses and ride every day. But since I don't even play the lottery....My hobbies included hiking, biking, gardening, dog agility, sewing (have made about half my wardrobe for school), knitting and crocheting during the winter, and music. Well actually I am a music teacher so that's more of a profession. My father was an immigrant from a very large family but in contrast I am American born and an only child. I love to do many things outdoors but if you cannot live without hunting or fishing I am not the one for you. My only trip overseas was to Iraq courtesy of the Army but I very much want to travel abroad. Within the U.S. Meet at a restaurant. Talk about things we like to do. Plan another meeting around mutual interests.
