About Me

I'm a life-long Packers fan but didn't go to my first game at Lambeau Field until a few years ago. I'm also energetic, confident, compassionate, loyal, witty, playful, supportive, adventurous, perpetually optimistic, independent and more.... I'm not much into the bar scene but prefer a dive bar over a pretentious club, dark chocolate over milk chocolate, stylish over trendy, heels over flats, culture (Europe) over climate (tropical), and a matinee over a packed theater. I'm also somewhat of a homebody - I enjoy my home and spending time with my animals. If I could, I would have more than just one dog and cat. I'd love to be more involved with animal rescue - there are simply too many abused and neglected animals in the world. I enjoy cooking, especially if it's for someone else, but I also like to order in and get cozy on the couch with a couple DVDs.- it's such a total, indulgent escape from the norm. I can spend hours at the blackjack table. I'm thoughtful and generous to a fault but never want to feel taken for granted. Can't. Wait. I volunteer twice/month in the critical care unit at a local hospital because it makes me feel connected to my community and reminds me that even the smallest acts of kindness can make all the difference. I enjoy most sports, particularly football! I have little or no tolerance for bad drivers, racists, narcissists, loud/disruptive/confrontational people, long lines and people who litter. I like to meet for a drink on the first date. Not coffee or tea - a drink, as in wine/beer/cocktail. I'm not a big drinker but I think a drink makes a first meet more relaxed.

I have more tools than most women, I know how to use them and I'm not afraid to get dirty. I can work hard in the yard all day and get cleaned up for a nice evening out. I'm comfortable in shorts and flip flops, jeans and boots, or dressing up. I love good conversation. I love entertaining and having friends over for BBQs. I love animals I'm not a big football fan, but I do like baseball and hockey. I listen to a variety of music depending on my mood: country, 60's and 70's, blues and jazz. I also do a lot of the girly things such as sewing, crafts, canning veggies out of the garden, and decorating. I traveled extensively throughout the U.S. I have about 14 more states to visit to be able to say I've been to every state.I'm looking for somebody to share my life with, not take care of me. I'm planning on retiring in ***years and would like somebody to share my new adventures with. Somebody with a good sense of humor, isn't offended easily, has old fashioned values, is respectful, and knows how to communicate. You must love animals! Someplace casual and quiet. Preferably for coffee or a drink, or maybe a walk on the beach.
