About Me

This is a first for me. I have never been on an online dating site but I thought I would give it a try. I love to go out and try to live each day to the fullest. I have been divorced now for about four years. I have a sixteen year old son who lives with me and is my best friend! He is with his dad every other weekend. I want to live my life drama free and would like to meet someone who feels the same.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

....I am an outgoing person who works hard and in my spare time would enjoy someone I could laugh with and engage in a great conversation. I love to travel, go to comedy clubs, out to dinner, walks, movies, a drink at a bar. I also like to be low key by making dinner at home and watching a movie while sipping on wine. Also there's nothing wrong with going to a movie. I like all types of music. My daughter keeps me updated on it..but not really into country. But with all of that...its not fun without that special someone to share it with! Communication, honesty, and chemistry are very important....OK. Lets hear from ya!!!!! If I had to pick my first date we would go somewhere casual and quiet. He would sit across from me and we would enjoy our conversation. Later he would walk me to my car and say goodbye. We cant wait to see each other again!

Hardworking but fun, intelligent and well educated but playful, sophisticated but never a snob. I might drive a little too fast, probably talk too much :-), but I'm a "straight shooter" - no hidden agendas. Romantic but in a grown up realistic way. I have never been, nor ever will be, a damsel in distress. I have two kids who are 12 and 14...I'm the kind of mom who is very dedicated but still have my own identity and won't bore my friends to death with stories about their latest report cards. I am divorced and that is well in the rear view mirror both emotionally and financially. I am financially secure and independent. I like classic music: Dylan, Sinatra, etc., but open to new stuff. I like road trips and new places but can enjoy just sitting around in the yard under a starry sky laughing and having a few drinks with friends.Messed up the birthday...can't edit the profile ...turned the big 50 last year. I got over it so should you!!! :-D Oh I guess somewhere low key where we can chat and get to know each other with little pressure.

Hi. I'm a quiet introspective person who enjoys reading, movies, plays and trips to the city. However, I do enjoy hanging out with friends and family, and am not a wallflower. I enjoy flea markets, festivals (especially balloon festivals) and craft shows. I like cooking and baking, especially for the holidays. I live close to the boardwalk, and love both the quiet of early morning walks and the noisy amusement aspect at night (the lights, the smells, the sounds of kids screaming on rides!). I'm all across the map when it comes to both books and music. I love any and all kinds and can't see how people can only listen to one type of music. I'm currently converting all my cds onto my ipod (quite the undertaking). I love reading, writing and talking books (any clue that I was an English major in college?) I even started volunteering as a home bound delivery person through my library, delivering books to house bound individuals. My goals...live a good life, with integrity, honesty, and hopefully with a love like my parents have (over 50 years together). First date would depend on season...Winter - someplace warm and cozy, preferably with a nice roaring fire. Spring - I'll take a benadryl, but after a long, cold winter and I'm ready to go anywhere outside...can be as simple as a trip to a park or the zoo, or a picnic lunch and canoeing. Summer...a stroll on the boardwalk with a couple drinks somewhere looking out at the water. Maybe be impressed by your fine skeeball skills! Then a walk down on the beach. It might start getting chilly and you'll share your sweatshirt. Fall...endless possibilities - Don't get me wrong. I love the romance of fine dining and candlelight, but why not save that till we really know each other. Start small and get to know each other.
