I come from a close large Irish family. I am a single mother of two boys, one who lives at home and one who lives out on his own. I enjoy fishing, camping, watching football (Go Giants!!), hockey (Rangers), baseball, (Yankees) going to concerts, dancing, cooking , baking and spending time with friends and family. I love to BBQ, yes I will even cook on the grill in the winter. I can do sweats and cuddle on the couch, get dressed up and go out on the town, just go to a local bar for a few beers and play some darts or pool or go for a walk on the beach or in the park. I am very easy to get alone with, Kind of go with the flow girl. I am true blue what you see is what you get. I pull no punches. I will not play head games with you and I would hope for the same respect in return, after all we are not in high school anymore. I hate drama and will not stick around to hear it or deal with it. I dont judge people because I am not perfect although I try to do the right thing by everyone which sometimes comes back to bite me in the butt but I learn from it and move on. I have been single for almost 4 years now and yes I have some baggage just like everyone but I have learned how to use that to my advantage *** it hold me back. I am respectful, loyal, outgoing, fun loving, and love to laugh. I love to hug, kiss, cuddle and show affection to the man I am with.     How exactly does one describe themselves? ok, here goes..Without sounding overly confident I will say I am very happy with my Life and my accomplishment thus far. But yes there is a void...That other half. I'm not saying that if you contact me, I'll buy airplane tickets to the Little White Chaple in Vagas. I have had a very success career. I am a Registered Nurse and worked in the Intensive Care Unit for over twenty years, and then moved on to teaching(also in medical field). After working so many years in Critical Care,I have learned and experienced many life lessons and learned that life is too short and every day is a new tomorrow.I have raised two wonderful sons that i'm very proud of, who are now 16 and 19... and slowly (or should I say much too fast for me) reaching the age will they will soon be on their own. And yes I find it difficult to accept, but they too will be opening a new chapter in their lives. Without sounding vain, My friends tell me that I'm fun to be with,full of energy, and look younger than my stated age.( I work out 6 days a week and feel as fit as I did in my 20's) I hate to argue,look towards a compromise,and to avoid an argument I usually walk away till that cooling off period has set in. Communication in my book is a big plus in a relationship. I like to be treated with respect as I do others. I'm a bit old fashioned and like it when a man opens doors for me, helps me with my coat,and places his Jacket over a puddle so I don't get my feet wet...lol..I have a positive attitude and look at life as the glass were half full. I am continuously working to improve myself mentally, physically, and emotionally. I value good friends, family, honesty ,respect, and freedom and there is nothing better than a good laugh to take the edge off the stress filled life we live in.
