Musician (acoustic upright bass/old-time banjo), artist, educator, professional, NPR listener, animal rights activist, quick witted, egalitarian, environmentalist, always mindful of my karma, politically liberal, happy, loyal, honest, tree-hugging, adventurous. It walked away without a scratch, the car is now fixed, I am healing nicely, and I learned that I am not cut out to be a stunt car driver. LOL.I love laughter yet know how to be serious when necessary. Have worked in a "helping" profession in some way my entire life. Family and friends are important to me and I will go out of my way for those I love. I play in a band but am not quitting my day job anytime soon. I jam with friends at least once a week.     I was married for 20 years, and have six kids. 25,24,18,14, and 12 yr old daughters, and a 20year old son. My 24 is married and I have 1 granddaughter. The 3 younger ones live with me. We needed a fresh start. I was a stay at home mom, and homeschooled my kids for years. The schools are a lot safer here, and my kids have adjusted very well.
