I've had many loves in my life, and I'm not looking for the next love of my life. For me, things like that don't need to be searched for, they just happen.Ok, I'm sorry, but this totally needs to be said: It's not that I don't believe in soul mates, but in my world that happens over time... you have dinner with someone and have a good time, enjoy each other's company, like each other and become friends, want to hang around often and bounce thoughts around, one day you realize how important the other person has become in your life and how much you value them, etc... (It's a process.) So, those of you who want to meet face to face to determine whether I'm "the one," I'M NOT.Love at first site? I'm certain that it happens for some, but I also think that it's linked to a personality type, and my personality is such that I'm much too cautious for that. If my demeanor (and humor) comes off as sarcastic, or even a little crude, please understand that I am parenting a house full of boys. Please put things in perspective... you don't know anything about me from the few paragraphs I wrote, and couple of photos I posted. You don't know about my past, my history with men, my current life, or where I'm coming from. This in no way means that I don't think you are a good man or some other woman isn't lucky to have you in HER life. For example, if I read your profile and you're clearly very driven, focused, disciplined and intense... well, I spent many years as a working single mom, I am flexible, laid back, I roll with whatever comes my way.... Or, if you're a sports fanatic, I respect that, but every time I have watched a game - baseball, football, basketball, etc. - within minutes I find my mind wandering and I'm staring at the wall daydreaming. So, I'd (pretend to) watch a game with you on occasion, or go to one once in a while, but I am NOT gonna magically become someone who enjoys it! First off, let me just say I am not trying to have sex with you. I know there are women on this site who are just trying to take advantage of a guy and use him for sex, but I am not one of them! That's not what I'm looking for. I will take you out for a drink, cup of coffee, or dinner first.... get to know you a little bit.... you know what I mean...Ok, seriously, I can get along with and have an enjoyable time with just about anyone.     I guess im a bit old school.. i believe in meeting someone, talking, and just get to know a person.. this whole thing about chemistry has been blown way out of proportion..
