Working on healing a broken heart and looking to move on in my life. Just want to date and get to know some people. Don't want something too serious too fast.There are many things I enjoy doing, not fanatic about any one thing,I can be content with pretty much anything, for me it is really the company I am with that makes the event or activity enjoyable.I prefer low key simple things in life, I am not fancy or frilly and prefer casual dress, I can and do dress up but I am a jeans kinda girl. I love to travel- boat, ship, car, plane, train, motorcycle...give me a few minutes and I will pack a bag.!! Anything to do with water and I am in!!!!I enjoy the country, the city, concerts, sporting events, road trips, off the beaten path places, historical places, gardening, yard work, remodeling, busy days, lazy days. I will go with you to have a burger and a beer but the bar is not where you will find me.I enjoy all kinds of music but can live without rap! It would be easier to say what I don't like than what I do like..........I don't like horror movies, don't like liers, scared of heights but want to zip line, and don't really care for liver,oh and you probably won't ever get me to eat that jello fish stuff, I think they call it lutefisk !!Of course there are moral issues I won't tolerate in a relationship but pretty much open to everything else. I am a christian and have a strong faith in the Lord and am seeking someone with similar convictions.I am an open book and can freely share who I am, no perfection here, I have regrets but do not live in shame. I am looking for someone that is HOT..........HOLD ON, not what your thinking H.O.T. would stand for OPEN, HONEST, TRANSPARENT!!!I want and need to know, WHO ARE YOU WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING???????????Are you a man of integrity?? So if we were to take a walk, sit on a dock, grab a sandwich, watch a movie, go for a ride, have a drink,it doesn't really matter to me as long as we could talk and get to know one another, simple is good for me.

    I like sunsets, bonfires, camping, boating (any kind... canoeing to sailing!), hiking, walks on the Lakewalk. A quiet glass of wine. Perhaps a movie. And I like many types of music, from Gregorian chant to hip hop! The only genre I really don't like is CW. I'm pretty active and am putting concerted effort into health and nutrition as I approach 50.It's really nice to have someone to appreciate and to be appreciated. Someone to smile for, to love on and cuddle with, to care for and be cared about, all that great relationship stuff. The burden really is half and the joy double when the right personalities come together. So, ultimately, that's what I'm looking to have again someday. My free time is quite valuable to me, so I like to make the most of it with family and friends, or sometimes just go off on a hike by myself or go and sit on the rocks by the lake. My personality is to be fun and spontaneous but my schedule is actually quite planned because I'm a small business owner, part-time employee, sole parent and dog owner. But I always manage to find time for fun!Yeah, about kids and dogs: I have a couple of each living at home, full time. I also have a large extended family that I like to get together with several times a year, and we're quite a diverse bunch, ethnically, racially, religiously. First dates are about getting to know one another, so someplace where conversation is possible, like a restaurant or coffee shop would be nice. If the weather is nice, perhaps a walk on the Lakewalk?
