About Me

I always try to have fun no matter where I am. I like meeting new people and checking out new places. Going to the movies, or dinner is always fun, or even snuggling up together on the couch makes what could have been a boring night awesome. I think there should only be three seasons: Ski, Hockey, and Baseball. I am a diehard fan of my PHILLIES and the RED WINGS and have been since ***. When I can't ski, I pretty much find random things to do to help get my mind off the fact that I am not skiing. Besides skiing, I love going for walks, shooting 12 gauge, Elvis, deep-fried fair food, cold weather, snow, country music, the Scorpions, being with my kids, and hiking in the mountains. I love to take long baths, love to read, and I always cry at sad movies. Oh, I change my hair color a lot. It is sometimes dark, sometimes blond. If you have your heart set on one color, sorry. I love the cold and the snow. If you can hang out at a ski resort and then relax and have a drink after an awesome day of hitting the slopes, helloooo! P.S. I don't want to teach you how to ski. I would end up putting you in ski school as I can't stand being on the bunny hill. A lot of you ask me to teach you - it ain't gonna happen. (Ok, I don't really say "ain't", but it just works there.) But, I will meet up with you later. I spent two days on the bunny hill teaching my son and it was a long two days. Other than that, well, that is what ski school is for. :) I have a full-time job and I also started my own business at night. I make things out of logs and concrete for weddings. Sometimes it is slow, and other times I am so busy I can't see straight. But, I love it so it makes me happy. :)I love horses and my dream would be to one day move to a place with property and have a horse. I have two kids who live with me most of the time. We are very close. They have a dad, but the man I end up with - I would want him to be a good role model for them. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, NOT ***friendly, but I do drink once in a while. If you are married or separated, I do not want to date you. You have a wife and I want no part of it. I worked for a divorce attorney long enough to know that if you really want a divorce, you can get one. P.S. GO PHILLIES and GO RED WINGS! :) I think it is better to meet for coffee or tea to see if we want to go on a date.

    Got one! You took the bait ;)Thanks for stopping by! So, the basic rundown of me....I lead a pretty busy life with work, my home and my boys (they are mostly self-sufficient at this point), friendships and social life, and finding time to keep in shape. Most people would consider me to be warm, easy-going and positive...you will usually catch me with a big genuine smile on my face. I have been called a "goofball" on more than one occasion, haha :) Obviously there are serious things in life, but I like to take it in stride and with a little levity. Although I have recently cut back quite a bit, I do love a glass of wine or a cold beer on a hot sunny day. I am pretty much over drinking in a bar for hours though. Finding balance while still getting out with girlfriends and having fun, dancing, whatever, is what I'm going for.;outdoorsy"...I love anything around water whether it is hanging out at the beach, enjoying water activities at a lake or river, or just laying poolside. Just tried stand up paddle boarding and LOVED it. I do own a ski boat, but need a captain! My favorite perch has always been stretched out on the bow ;) If we get to know each other, you bring the jet skis and I'll bring the boat! For exercise, I love to do group classes at the gym...anything where I am moving to music makes it fun. Anything from Zumba to kickboxing to hula, or at home on my Wii dance game! I also like to get out for a bike ride on my beach cruiser (no serious cycling here, lol). At this wise old age (haha), and having been through tough times, I have a new perspective on life. I'm not necessarily thinking I will enter a permanent relationship right away, but I also am not interested in wasting time with "players"...it's kind of like I've been to the puppet show, and I've seen the strings ;) I strongly believe that humility is a virtue. While self-confidence is a good thing, I don't care to be around someone who thinks too highly of themselves or believes they are better than others. An open mind is a beautiful thing. I just thought I'd see if maybe I'll meet someone to connect with, find a spark with, and enjoy time together with. Maybe I will be that for you :)

    Here I am, casting out my line...Let's see...I like a little bit of everything. I like to go out, but I'm always up for a quiet day or night at home as well. I like to cook, but I don't cook every day & I love a nice dinner out. I like going to the movies, but I almost always fall asleep watching movies at home. I have to read a little bit every day and usually have more than one book going at a time. I love seeing plays and musicals & would love go more frequently, but I think a night of bowling is fun too- I also have golf clubs getting rusty in the garage...I could use a coach, as long as you're not too bossy! I'm looking forward to traveling more in the near future and seeing what this world has to offer-I do have my passport! I'm lucky to have quite a few built in times for vacation! I like to be a little silly and it's been said that I have a great sense of humor-humor depends on the audience though, so I guess you'd have to be the judge of that. I love to laugh and I try to focus on the lighter side of life.I've had the same job that I love for over 17 years. I'm not looking for, nor do I need, anyone to take care of me-that doesn't mean I don't like being spoiled a little though :-). I'm independent yet I miss that flutter in my heart knowing I'm in someone's thoughts. I'm looking for someone who has their life together and who has goals for the future; someone who is honest (even in their profile); someone with minimal baby mama drama-some baggage is fine and understandable as long as you've dealt with most of the drama by now; someone who can handle a little sarcasm without getting their feelings hurt. I hope that's not too much to ask for!Also, I am much more attracted to a big genuine smile in a photo that was taken while you were doing something fun than I am to the "selfies" that a lot of you guys are posting. I'm not sure what you're posing so seriously for, but it cracks me up sometimes (and not in a good way)! I am a big fan of the occasional photobomb & recently followed a woman around the grocery store trying to *** of her CAT! Seriously, it was in a pet carrier in her cart! If this kind of silliness every once in a while is beyond you or too embarrassing for you or whatever...it's pretty much part of who I am.
