This is the part that stumps me..what do people really want to know about? I am a mom of 2 girls i try to enjoy them and have fun with them when i can. I like to hang out with my friends and go to dinner or just out dancing, i like to dance just putting that out there. I can be happy just sitting at home and watching t.v, reading a book or playing a game with my daughter. I love to go to the beach even though i dont get there to often. I like nascar and football: Steelers fan! Work seems to consume my week but i make time for other things. I enjoy going to church on sunday I try to put God first. Cooking not my favorite thing to do since it is just 2 of us at home but when i have time i like to make a decent dinner. There is more i can put on here but if interested you can always ask me. first dates are hard ...first impressions sometimes last but i would enjoy anything that involved getting to know the person whether it be dinner..picnic..going for a walk

I am a romantic at heart. I still believe there is someone right out there for me. First and foremost I am a mother to some fantastic children. They are my first priority, but a close second are our animals.I love the sun and the water. I love hot days filled with nothing else but laying on a beach or by a pool, lake, river, stream, etc.. I am flexible, I like going out for dinner and a movie but can be just as HAPPY and comfortable staying in and making dinner together and watching a DVD. It is all in the company and how we relate to each other. I am looking for the love that lasts. I want to come home at night dying to see you and knowing you feel the same.I am very giving with my time, my love and anything else you may need that I have. What I want is to find my equal, someone just as giving with a big loyal heart. I want to be with someone who likes to hold hands and kiss until we can't breathe.I am hoping to find THE ONE that makes my heart stop just a little every time I see him. Some say I am a hopeless romantic but I refuse to not believe there is such a love. Good luck to everyone in their search! For a first date I think coffee or a drink somewhere quiet would be great.

-garde,I never thought it would be this hard,But I'll search 'til I get my wish. I've been in SoCal for over five years now and I am still loving it, but there is so much to see, who knows where I may land. Do you want to hear more? Alright, let's see.... I'm adventurous and like to try new things(sky diving however is not on the list). I've explored various Mayan ruins, white***I also have a fondness for afternoon naps and relaxing at home. I'm not religious at all, but I do appreciate the un-randomness of things and how, when I look back, the pieces all fit together. I just have to learn to be more patient and trust the future pieces will fall into place too. Presently I am the manager of an independent bookstore and I really enjoy helping someone find a book they will love. (I don't read as much as I should shhhhh!)Shall I continue? I've been called a foodie, and I'm not going to argue. Good food doesn't have to be fancy, just delicious. I'm a decent home cook and I enjoy trying new recipes on my grill/smoker. I won first place in a cookie contest once. I am an admirer of details, from ingenious design to the patina of an old wood bar worn smooth by many hands. In my spare time I enjoy playing backgammon. Recently I have taken a few classes on wild edible foraging and preparation. I ate an ant. One is enough. I don't watch much TV except if there is a hockey game on with one of my favorite teams. If I had cable, I would probably watch cooking shows and the Antiques Roadshow, but there is so much garbage on that I can't justify paying for it. My taste in movies and music is diverse. I'm sure we can agree on something, as long as it isn't contemporary country music. I draw the line there :-)I'm attracted to charismatic, witty men who are passionate about their interests. Players and egoists needn't bother, but I'm not what those types are typically looking for anyway. I'm a sucker for a man who can rock a pork pie hat. I typically date outside my race, but it isn't a deal breaker. I want to find someone where we share a mutual attraction and enjoy spending time together. I'm not looking for a fling or a hook-up, so please look elsewhere if that is what you want. I just want to find someone I click with and see where it goes. So, what do you think? I've often thought of writing a more generic profile. I've contemplated cutting and pasting all the common phrases that I see repeated in other profiles, "down to earth" etc., just to see if I'd get a different response. But this is who I am, and I'm not going to fake it. I know I'm not for most men, nor are most of you for me, but I'm an optimist most days, so here I am, putting the real me out there. This is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg, care to dive deeper? To me, a first date implies that we have met and liked each other enough at the meet-n-greet to proceed to a first date. Meet-n-greets are usually coffee, except when they are a punk concert or a taxidermy exhibit. First dates however have loads of possibilities!
