Some have *** simply to say my profile is too long, I find that intriguing and a little amusing...Can you make it through my entire profile? You already are ahead. I am here to meet people who have common interests, goals and an excitement for all that life has to offer. Clearly we need to exchange a few ***, but lets get on the phone, talk, and meet. My photos are all quite recent and I have been told upon meeting that I look just like my photos, Appearances are not everything, but if we can't recognize each other, yet have seen photos then something is not quite right...I think I am pretty diverse, love to be outdoors being active. I would rather be biking, running, hiking, etc than always bellied up to a bar drinking. Now, I do enjoy having drinks, I love a good craft beer and have a love affair with wine. find a patio with live music and I could spend all day, a good book on the beach = a day well spent. A day hiking the back country = another day well spent.Words to describe me, Optimistic: I always try to find the silver lining and tend to let things roll off my back life is too short to spend it angry about things you can't change. If you are unhappy with something in your life, change it, do it differently. Empathetic: I feel hard, I feel my friends and families pain and joys as if it was my own. Loyal: I am a secret keeper and confidant for my closest friends. I've got their back and I am not talking behind their back. Dreamer: I love to dream big, the world is full of possibilities. I want to feel like I have lived and not just let life happen to me.I enjoy the companionship a relationship has to offer and believe a good relationship is a partnership. someone who will challenge me to be my best and isn't afraid to be real with me, someone who values my input and sees me as an equal. I am at the age I don't want to play games, i am perhaps sometimes too honest, but I don't want anyone to have to try to read my mind. :) Communication, active listening, valuing the knowledge and input each other has on a variety of subjects, all are held in high regard. Any chance i had I hopped a plane and came back with a passport full and so many amazing experiences.i have been known to road trip from one corner of the country to another. Not that I don't enjoy flying, I love aviation, but I enjoy the journey a road trip provides and seeing all that there is to see.When I think about what I have learned about relationships and what I want in a partner, I don't think it is really that complicated. the ability to communicate is so important but what do I find sexy? A security in themselves, brains, creativity, a sense of adventure but not wreckless adventure, someone who wants to experience life with a partner, but is secure to enjoy some of their own hobbies on their own and be ok with me doing the same. A desire to take care of themselves and their health. I try to eat clean and have made great strides in my own fitness. I think I was more fit when I turned 40 than I was at any other point in my life, including when I was actively running marathons. an ability to step out of their comfort zone and into mine at times, I am sure to step out of mine and into yours.Clearly, (to me anyway) there has to be a nice foundation of friendship and spark, I am open to possibilities and trying to step out of my comfort zone. lets meet, something low key where we can enjoy conversation. :)

    Hi....it is hard to describe yourself in a couple paragraphs, but here is a little about me....I am a single mom of two great kids. I am looking to meet that special someone to get to know and most of all develop a friendship with. I think friendship is the foundation of any good relationship. I would like to meet someone to talk to and laugh with and just be myself with. I believe in open communication and going the extra mile for those special people in your life. I love my job and am satisfied with my life the way it is. I would however, like to meet that person that I can share life with.I like going to new places and trying new things as well as simply relaxing at home over a good movie or music with good conversation and great company. I love going to the gym and go ***times a week to workout. I like being outside and working in my yard, relaxing by the pool, riding four wheelers. I like both the beach and mountains. I have recently found that I really like watching both college and professional football (I need someone with patience to help me figure out all of the rules). I love storms, just to lay back and listen to the thunder and rain.     One of my favorite quotes: "Do or do not - there is no try"- Hey, I'm a little bit of a geek, I grew up playing with my brother's Star Wars toys and his cars....My musical tastes vary, everything from alternative, rock, a bit of old school rap (ie Beastie Boys). I can listen to just about anything and enjoy it; however, if I am singing, you won't enjoy it! ha ha ha (at least I admit it... That has to count for something!)I love spicy food and I like to try different cuisines. 95% of the time I eat healthy. 5% of the time you are allowed a little leeway. There is no such thing as too much cayenne, too many jalapeno peppers, or too many red pepper flakes! You want to do curry, make it HOT curry! A few things about me:- There is something that is real and true about karma. I believe in trying your best to do the right thing. I believe in saying sorry when one does something wrong/bad/hurtful and I think one should mean it when one says "I'm sorry". - I love my Spartans, if you can't tolerate a MSU football game, don't bother contacting me. My blood bleeds green, pretty much all fall!!! - My job is very important to me, but I know how to leave the office at the office and I do not bring the drama of the office home with me. Would love to travel to more of Europe and Australia, too! The only other language I can speak/understand fairly well is French, also I can speak the basics in Spanish/Mexican (okay, I can ask where the bathroom is and order a beer). I live a healthy life style, I get my exercise, I relax, sometimes (but not often) I do absolutely nothing. Life is good. If the days were longer than 24 hours, life would be better!
