I am looking for someone to have fun with. If you are looking for somone who needs to be attached at the hip all of the time, that's not me. Don't get me wrong, I love staying connected with the person I am dating, but not so much that we are too clingy. I am looking for someone to enhance my life. I am a busy single mom who wants to make time for someone special. I want someone kind, smart and most of all, funny! A sense of humor is really important to me. Looks are secondary to personality. I love to try new things and have parasailed and hiked in the jungles of Belize. I am told I have a great sense of humor and I love to laugh. I am as comfortable in a tent camping as I am in a fancy restaurant. Actually...more comfortable in a tent. I am very non-materialistic person, things will never be as important as people. I have two children who are my world. They bring me happiness and love that I never knew could possibly be this strong. I would do anything for my girls. They will always be my priority, but hoping to find someone to spend Mom time with, with no Spongebob on!! I love children, and if you have kids, that's great, if not, that's fine too. I have a few extra pounds, but I am healthy and active. If you don't want to look past that, that's fine, but you will miss out on a lot. I am an educated, professional, self sufficient woman. I worked and put myself through college and got my Masters Degree with honors. I have dedicated my life (the last 16 yrs) to working with people with developmental disabilities, it is my passion. I love to find the good and strengths in all people. I hold an upper management position in a non-profit organization. If you have active addiction issues, I wish you well, but I am not for you. I need a low key, low drama person who likes to laugh and doesn't take life too seriously, but I like to have deep conversations too. I am fiercely loyal to those I love. I am the eternal optimist with a touch of realistI am so blessed to have parents who have been married almost 45 years. They have shown me what true love is, and my dad has been a great example of how a man should treat a woman! I have an awesome family who I am close to. I love my four siblings and all my nieces and nephews with all my heart. I love MN WILD hockey and scrapbooking, country music and hanging out with friends. I am a midwestern girl, born and raised.     One of my favorite quotes: "Do or do not - there is no try"- Hey, I'm a little bit of a geek, I grew up playing with my brother's Star Wars toys and his cars....My musical tastes vary, everything from alternative, rock, a bit of old school rap (ie Beastie Boys). I can listen to just about anything and enjoy it; however, if I am singing, you won't enjoy it! ha ha ha (at least I admit it... That has to count for something!)I love spicy food and I like to try different cuisines. 95% of the time I eat healthy. 5% of the time you are allowed a little leeway. There is no such thing as too much cayenne, too many jalapeno peppers, or too many red pepper flakes! You want to do curry, make it HOT curry! A few things about me:- There is something that is real and true about karma. I believe in trying your best to do the right thing. I believe in saying sorry when one does something wrong/bad/hurtful and I think one should mean it when one says "I'm sorry". - I love my Spartans, if you can't tolerate a MSU football game, don't bother contacting me. My blood bleeds green, pretty much all fall!!! - My job is very important to me, but I know how to leave the office at the office and I do not bring the drama of the office home with me. Would love to travel to more of Europe and Australia, too! The only other language I can speak/understand fairly well is French, also I can speak the basics in Spanish/Mexican (okay, I can ask where the bathroom is and order a beer). I live a healthy life style, I get my exercise, I relax, sometimes (but not often) I do absolutely nothing. Life is good. If the days were longer than 24 hours, life would be better!
